Three Months Later...

"Come on Gidget, one more," Chloe encouraged the fluffy white Pomeranian. Laying on her side panting, Gidget screamed as more pain ran through her body. She had been at this for five hours now. The first puppy had been born twenty five minutes ago, the second twenty. The third and last was still inside of her. "It hurts..." Gidget groaned, everything in her body aching. She just wanted this to be over.

"Well, don't blame me! You and Eagle Eye decided to have kids!" Pops exclaimed as he strolled over, leaving Norman with the first two puppies on a blanket where he had been drying them. He carefully ran a paw along Gidget's stomach. "You just need to push a little harder, okay Puffball?" he stated calmly.

"What do you think I've been doing for the past five hours?!" Gidget snapped. Glancing over at Chloe, Pops murmured, "If this is what Puffball is like, I'd hate to see what happens when you finally pop." He gestured to the feline's stomach, where she was carrying Max's children. The cat smiled as she meowed, "I'll make Gidget look golden."

"I think it's coming!" Gidget yelped, regaining the attention of Pops and Chloe. They quickly came to the rescue. A moment later, Chloe brought a small bundle over to Gidget as she whispered, "Here you go pal." She gently placed the bundle beside the Pomeranian while Pops and Norman brought over the other two. At the same time, Tiberius and Max rushed into the room. "I tried guys, he's too smart..." Max explained.

"Relax, we just finished up," Chloe informed Max as she padded over and nuzzled her husband lovingly. Meanwhile, Tiberius quietly approached Gidget. "Are you okay?" he asked, worry in his voice. Nodding her head and smiling, Gidget whispered, "Come meet your son and daughters." Peering down at the the small bundles laying beside the fluffy white Pomeranian, the old hawk purred happily.

Their first puppy was a light brown female with a lighter underbelly and paws. The second was a completely white boy. The last and youngest of the litter was not a puppy but rather a small hawk with white feathers all over except for her tail. Nuzzling Gidget lovingly, Tiberius whispered, "They're as beautiful as their mother."

"And as handsome as their father," Gidget added on, kissing Tiberius. Tail wagging, she whispered softly, "I love you Tiberius." Nuzzling the fluffy dog, the old hawk replied back, "I love you too Gidget."
