Chapter 9: Meet Dr. Octopus

Miles took Peter and went to Peter's room. He placed Peter on his bed and covered him with a blanket. He checked his pulse. It was stable. Means that Peter was alive and needed some rest. Then Miles thought that he needed to find Dr. Octopus from this dimension who did it to Peter. He stood up from the chair on which he was sitting and went out of Peter's room. He quietly walked into his room, took his costume and went to the restroom to change. Then he walked to the window and was about to jump out when someone behind him said. "Where are you going?" "Oh, Good Morning Gwen. I was just going to take some fresh air." Miles replied. "Don't lie to me Miles, I hate when people do this." Gwen said. She know Miles for about a year and she knew when he was lying and when he was not. "Ok, ok, I just need to find a person who did this to Peter." Miles said. "And what are you going to do when you would find it?" Gwen asked. "Well..." Miles didn't know what to say and Gwen was giving a lot of good arguments. "That's what I thought, you can't go alone out there you would be probably dead when you would find this person. And I can't let this happen." Gwen replied. "It's ok, I promise I won't die." Miles said. "And please look after Peter, he probably needs know somebody near him." Miles continued, pulled his mask on and jumped out of the window. "Be careful." Gwen quietly said and went to Peter's room.

Miles was swinging from one building to another for about a few hours and couldn't find anything. Then he landed on top of the highest building in Nueva York and looked around. He was like a predator looking for his pray. Then he sighed and started to slide down the building very slowly and looking over the city but then he focused his attention on some starnge person in a black hat and a black big coat that covered all of his feet walking by the dark street. Maybe it was just a normal person walking on the streets of Nueva York but Miles wanted to check on him just to be sure. He quietly jumped from one building to another like a frog and then quietly landed on a building near the walking person. Miles turned invisible so the stranger would not see him. For a few meters, Miles quietly pursued the starnger, but then it walked around the corner even in the more darker street that was in the middle of two abandoned houses. It was getting really creepy. Then the stranger bent down and opened the hatch that was in front of him and then jumped down the drain, not closing the drain behind him. "Well, this stranger is living in a drain, or this is a person that I was looking for." Miles quietly said and jumped in front of the hatch. "Well, good luck to me." He said and jumped into the drain closing the hatch behind him so nobody would fall into it.

At that time, Gwen was sitting in Peter's room didn't know what to do. She knew Miles wanted her to be now with Peter and look after him if something would happen but she also was worrying about Miles, and how is he there alone by himself. She also knew that Miles beat Kingpin in his dimension alone by himself and that it would be not that hard to beat another villain. But if this villain hurted Peter that much as any other did, so it could easily kill Miles. Then Gwen's thoughts stopped on this moment and she wanted to clear them. But couldn't. So she thought that Peter would be okay laying in this bulding with a lot of security and Miguel's opperating system. So she put on her Spider costume, went to the window, pulled on the mask and jumped out of the building doing backflips in the air and landing on another building.

Miles was walking quietly few meters behind from the stranger. At that time he thouhgt only about one thing. Does this awful smell from the drain would wash out. But then his thought interrupted the stranger that stopped and turned towards the brick wall. Stranger pressed on one of the bricks and the secret door opened in front of him in which he walked. How primitive Miles thought and jumped into the secret room before it would close. "Its so nice to finally meet you Miles Morales." Stranger said. "You know me?" Miles said with a confusion. "Yes, I do." Stranger said and pulled of his hat and his coat. And revealed his octopus costume. It was all black with a very sharp claws on each of the robotic hand. His robotic hands was not like Doc Ocks from Miles's universe that were like a rubber. This robotic hands were more aggressive. "Well, Let's do it fast because I also wanted to celebrate my birthday today." Miles said and stood in a fighting position. "Well, everything would go quick, you are right where I wanted you to be." Dr. Octopus said and the strange tiny robots started to crawl out of the every hole and sticking to Miles. "What the hell, What's happening." Miles said staring to try to take off the robots off his body. But robots already have attached to every inch of Miles's body only leaving the head. "I dont think you would be celebrating your birthday ever again." Dr. Octopus said and punched Miles in the face making a big cut on his mask and making him unconscious. Gwen stopped on top of ones of the buildings, to catch her breath. And then she heard some voice behind her saying. "Look who it is." Gwen turned around and saw Miguel. "Oh, hi Miguel." Gwen said. Miguel was looking at her for a while and then said. "I'm sorry. I treated you badly. I didn't mean it." "It's ok Miguel." Gwen said. "Ok, then how about a tight hug." Miguel said. "Ok." Gwen replied and Miguel hugged her and putted on Gwen's neck some device. And stepped away. "What did you do?" Gwen asked falling on her knees. "This is a device that would make you do what I want you to do." Miguel said. "And what do you want me to do, Miguel?" Gwen asked. "Well, how about first killing a couple of spiders and starting with Miles. And there is no more Miguel. It's only me know. Dr. Octopus!" Miguel said. Before Gwen could say something she was already hypnotized and was ready to listen to the commands. To be continued...

Author's Note: I'm not gonna say anything about you leaving the comments because you already know what to do. I just want to say to people who didn't quite understand the end of this chapter. So basically, Dr. Octopus with a small device can control mostly anyone and first he controlled Miguel and then he commanded Miguel to control Gwen. He basically wants to get rid of all the spiders and create chaos. So in the next chapter if Spiders would attack each other, just know that they under control.
