Chapter 27: Get to know Better.

Miles and Gwen were staying there, in Miles's room looking at the Charlotte. They didn't know what to say. They were just standing and  sometimes looking at each other. But then after some time Miles broke the awkward silence by reasking Charlotte the question. "So who are you?" Miles was even shaking, like he was now standing in the snow. "I'm Charlotte Samantha Morales-Stacy. A.K.A. Spider Girl." Charlotte answered. "So I did not overheard that." Miles said and fell on the chair near his drawing table and put his hands on his face. He didn't know what to do. Miles was shocked and at the same time confused. And Gwen was probably too. "So, I'm your mom, and he is your dad?" Gwen asked. But Charlotte didn't said anything, she just shaked her head saying Yes. After that Gwen started to feel now even worse. Gwen did thought about the future of her and Miles. But she never thought that they would have a child together. Like having a skin contact. "Miles can you please get me some valerian?" Gwen said looking at Miles. Miles shooked his head and went towards the door. He disconnected Charlotte from the door and walked out of the room into the kitchen.

Charlotte then took off her mask and revealed her face. She was very similar to Gwen. It looked like she took some of the characteristics from her mother and some from the father. She had a white skin color as Gwen had and had a same style and color of hair. She looked like Gwen's copy. And her costume with her mask looked also same as Gwen's. Charlotte then sat down near Gwen on Miles's bed. "So how old are you Charlotte?" Gwen asked turning her head towards her. But before Charlotte could answer, something fell down in the kitchen. "I'm ok!" Miles screamed from the kitchen and stood up from the floor. It was really hard for him to find where his mom had all of the medications. Miles was worrying that his mom could have taken all of the medications to her hospital. And there would be nothing. But Miles didn't stop looking. How Miles fell made Gwen and Charlotte giggle a little bit. They even had a same laugh. "I'm 11 years old mom." Charlotte replied. That made Gwen feel not very good. Gwen didn't got used to be called a mother. So she replied. "Charlotte, can you please not call me a mom in this dimension. Because in this dimension I'm 16 years old and I'm still not got used to be called a mom and some people can think very bad  and strange of us. Just call me Gwen." Gwen said and smiled to make conversation maybe not that awkward as it already is. "Ok Gwen." Charlotte replied and smiled back. And then Miles walked in the room with the two cups of green tea with a lemon inside. "I didn't found any valerian Gwen. But I think that this may help you." Miles said and extended an arm with the cup towards Gwen. "Thanks Miles." Gwen said and smiled at Miles and then took the cup. Then Miles gave the cup of tea to Charlotte and she also took it and also thanked Miles.

"So, what did brought you here?" Miles asked looking at Charlotte that was drinking her tea. "Well you left us with the Spider Ham. So he can babysit us. Which I hate very very much and you two went fighting against the sinister six..." Charlotte started to tell her story but before she could continue, Miles did interrupted her. "I'm sorry to interrupt your story but who is us and why is Spider Ham babysitting you?" Miles asked. "Well, Us is me and my little brother Max. He is 4 years younger than me," Charlotte said and Miles and Gwen again had wide eyes and Gwen even chocked and then started coffing for a little bit. "It looks like I now need a tea." Miles said and walked out of the room. "And why did we made Spider Ham your babysitter?" Gwen asked when Miles walked out of the room. "Well, I don't really know. You didn't explained a lot." Charlotte replied. And then Miles returned back but didn't had any cup of tea in his hands. "Where is your tea Miles?" Gwen asked him. "Well, there is no more tea left in the house. So that's why I don't have it." Miles said. "Well, take mine tea." Gwen said extending a hand towards Miles. "No thanks Gwen. I'm ok." Miles replied. "Miles, you need to have some tea. Please take it." Gwen said and put a cup of tea in Miles's hands. "Well ok. Thanks Gwen." Miles replied and smiled. "Can I now continue my story?" Charlotte asked. "Yes of course." Miles said and started to drink his tea that Gwen gave to him. "So and I wanted to help you because I'm preety sure I could but you didn't let me because it was dangerous and Spider Ham also didn't let me." Charlotte continued his story but then Miles again interrupted her. "Sorry again. But I think that it is right that we didn't let you go fighting. You are only 11 years old and the bad guys could easily kill you." "I'm agreeing with Miles on this one. We just didn't want you to get hurt Charlotte. Every parent has that, they are want to protect their child no matter what." Gwen said and looked at Miles and Miles looked at her. "So who are that sinister six?" Miles asked. "Oh, Sinister Six is a team of supervillains with Mysterio, Kraven the hunter, Electro, Doctor Octopus, Sandman and Vulture. You get to know them better in the future." Charlotte replied. "Oh okay. Continue please." Miles said and Charlotte continued her story. "So when Spider Ham put us to sleep and then also fell asleep, I put on this costume in which I am now and went helping you two. When I arrived there I saw you two fighting against the sinister six with Spider Man 2099, Spider Man (Peter Parker) and Noir. The Sinister six had some kind of plan of conquiring all of the dimensions. And while you all were fighting with Sinister Six. Scorpion which is another villain. Kinda opened the portal and you all were getting sucked into another dimensions. But then I jumped from the building and punched Scorpion into the portal but then I also did flew into the portal by accident and then after some time of treaveling thru the kind of weird space, I got here. And now I'm trying to find the Scorpion and bring myself back home." "Well. We would help you with that, 100%. But now we all need to go to sleep." Gwen replied and stood up from the bed. "Yeah, I agree with that with Gwen. Charlotte you and Gwen can lay down on my bed and I can lay down in the hall on the sofa." Miles replied and stood up from the chair. "Miles no. I would sleep in the hall." Gwen said. "Gwen you let me drink your tea. Let me do the same for you." Miles replied. "Ok Miles." Gwen said. "So, I don't really have any clothes to wear, can someone give me a pajama or something like that?" Charlotte asked. Gwen then reached into her's backpack and took out an extra shorts with a tshirt and handed it to Charlotte. "Thanks Gwen." Charlotte said and then both of them went to the bathroom to change leaving Miles stand there in his room alone.

It took about 15 minutes for girls to change. And when they returned Miles was already in his pajama and was sleeping on his bed. "I guess Miles was so tired that he fell asleep." Gwen said. "Lay down near Miles, Charlotte" Gwen continued. "Gwen, maybe you would kay down near dad." Charlotte replied. "No, I'm gonna go sleep on the sofa." Gwen said. "Gwen, but you promised Miles." Charlotte replied. "Yeah but. It would be better if you would lay down near Miles." Gwen said. "Ok." Charlotte replied and layed down on the bed near Miles. She knew that it was probably stupid to argue with her mother. And then Charlotte fell asleep in a second. Gwen then covered both of them with a blanket and went to sleep in the hall. In an hour and a half Miles accidentally woked up and saw Charlotte laying near him in the bed. He stood up and walked out of the room to see where is Gwen and to drink some water because he got thirsty. He took out the glass out of one of the cabinets and then poored the water in the glass from the sink and drank some. And then he noticed Gwen laying on the sofa near the TV without anything. No blanket, no pillow. That made Miles not feel very good. So he slowly not to make any noise walked near Gwen, and then slowly and carefully picked her up with his hands. Gwen was still sleeping and not feeling anything. Miles then slowly started to walk towards his room. It was hard for him to lift up Gwen but he wanted to help her. When Miles walked into his room he started to slowly try to place Gwen on a bed. And he did. Then Miles covered Gwen with a blanket. And when he was about to leave. Gwen stood up and kissed Miles in a cheek. "You are the best." Gwen said and fell again asleep with a beautiful smile on her face. And Miles also with a smile went back to the hall to take a nap.
