At about 7:00 AM Gwen opened her eyes and saw herself on a Miles's bed laying near Charlotte that was still sleeping. Gwen looked around and saw Miles's room that was lighted up by the sun that was shining from the windows, that didn't had any curtains so it was kind of hard to stand up from the bed when a sun is shinning at your face. Gwen slowly and carefully moved a blanket away under which she was sleeping and stood up from the bed. She again looked around and then walked towards Miles's drawing table. Gwen examined Miles's drawing table a lot of times and she knows where everything is going and where everything is standing. But there is always something is changing on that drawing table. Some drawings are getting thrown away. Other drawings gets added. So it was always interesting for Gwen to see what Miles is drawing. She probably knew that Miles could have had some drawings that he didn't want to share with anyone and just keep to himself. But Gwen was so curious that she couldn't hold herself. Gwen took stack of the papers on his hands and sat on the bed to look thru them. Some of the drawings that were in that stack of papers were different in their own way. There were drawings of the Brooklyn at night and at the morning from the view of a bird's eye. It looked like Miles was going after school or before school to the highest point in the Brooklyn and was drawing. There were also drawings of Miles as Spider Man swinging thru the city and the drawings of others Spider Man's like Noir, SP//dr, Spider Ham and of course Gwen. Miles had a hundred or even more drawings of her. That even made Gwen sometimes blush when she saw that. When Gwen was looking at the pictures of her, only one thought came to her mind that Miles really loves her with all of his heart. And now with that thought Gwen put Miles's drawings back on Miles's drawing table and carefully walked out of the room not to wake up anyone.
When Gwen walked into the hall, she saw Miles sleeping on a sofa with one leg and one hand hanging down from the sofa and with an open mouth. Gwen slowly walked next to Miles and with her hand moved near his face to check if he was sleeping. And he was. So Gwen thought she can make a breakfast for Miles as a thank you and for others also like Charlotte and Miles's parents. Gwen walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. As always there were already some of the food for Miles when Rio and Jeff were staying at work and they didn't liked when Miles is just eating fast food. But Gwen wanted to make something on her own and not just put already cooked food in the microwave and heat it. So she started to look for something to cook. There were some meat and some eggs. But no one really eats meat for the breakfast so the only choice is left are eggs. Gwen took out from the fridge 10 eggs, 2 for each person and placed it near the stove, then it took Gwen some time to find a pan, but she still found it. She then turned on the gas and started to cook the eggs. After some time, the food smell started to cover the whole room. And Miles's eyes started to slowly open. Miles slowly opened his eyes and got up from the sofa and yawned and after that Miles completely stood up from the sofa and noticed Gwen. "Good Morning Gwen. You are cooking a breakfast?" Miles asked walking towards the kitchen and at the same time rubbing his eyes. "Good Morning Miles. Yeah, is there a problem?" Gwen replied. "No Gwen, of course not, I just thought that this was my mom cooking a breakfast." Miles said. "Oh, I just thought to make a breakfast for everybody myself, so it would be a kind of thank you for you and for others." Gwen replied. "So, about Charlotte." Miles started to say. "What about her?" Gwen asked Miles, while cooking the eggs. "Well, how do you feel about her? We didn't really got to talk yesterday." Miles replied. "I feel good about her, she is our future daughter, and hers mom could probably feel only one way same as hers dad." Gwen said looking at Miles. Miles didn't know what to answer to he just smiled back and went to check his parents bedroom. When Miles opened the door into their room, he didn't saw them on their bed. And even if they were not at home for the whole night they are 100% at home in the morning. So Miles went to the TV in the hall and turned it on, because that is what his dad was doing every morning. And when the TV got turned on the news started. "Last night, a some kind of person in a metal scorpion suit attacked two of the buildings which are a Police Department and a Hospital near the Visions Academy. Please stay at home before police solves the problem. The schools would be closed." The woman from the News said. "That is where my parents are working..." Miles said and in a minute he was already in his suit. "Gwen, stay here with a Charlotte, protect her, and if something would happen, call me." Miles said before opening a door and jumping out of the house and started to swing towards the police and a hospital before Gwen could say something. First Gwen wanted to go with him but then she thought what Miles said. This guy could be after Charlotte. So she should stay here and protect Charlotte. And with these kind of thoughts Gwen continued cooking the breakfast.
In about an hour, Charlotte woke up and walked into the hall out of Miles's room. She saw her mom cooking breakfast in the kitchen. "Good Morning Gwen." Charlotte said. She knew that Gwen didn't really liked when Charlotte called her mom. Because that would be kind of weird to have a child at 16 years old. "Good morning." Gwen replied with a smile. After that she probably put cooked food on the plates and placed them on the table. Charlotte and Gwen them sat on the chairs and started to eat some breakfast.
After Charlotte finished her breakfast she turned to Gwen and asked. "Gwen, where is da... Miles?" "Something happened in the city and Miles went to check it." Gwen replied. "Oh, I also want to go!" Charlotte jumped up out of her seat and ran into Miles's room. After a minute she was already in her suit ready to fly away. "Charlotte where do you think you are going?" Gwen asked Charlotte with the brought up eyebrow. "Visit Miles." Charlotte replied taking off her mask. "It's dangerous out there, and I don't want you to get in any trouble. This city saw a lot of spiders and if they will see another one it would be pretty strange. So stay home." Gwen replied at the same time washing the dishes. "Ok.." Charlotte said and walked back into Miles's room to change.
When Gwen finished washing the dished, she wiped her hands and walked into Miles's room. She saw Charlotte sitting on the chair and looking at Miles's drawings. Gwen smiled and sat near Charlotte. "Miles has a lot of different cool drawings." Charlotte said. "Yeah, he does. Some of them she gave me." Gwen said. "Oh cool. Can you show me them?" Charlotte asked. "Yeah, of course. Why not." Gwen replied and reached for her backpack. She opened it and started to look for the drawings but saw something that caught her attention. She took it out, and held in her heads until Charlotte asked. "What is it?" "It is the present for Miles's birthday that I should have got him on his last birthday." Gwen replied. "Well, why didn't you gave it to him?" Charlotte asked again. "A lot of things happened at that time... so I couldn't gave it to him." Gwen didn't want to tell Charlotte the whole story. She then placed the present back into her backpack and reached for Miles's drawing. She knew that one day she would need to tell Chatlotte everything because she is kind of her daughter. But... not today.
