Chapter 19: The Blood of Spider.

When the first day presentation ended in Oscorp and Gary went to his office. Teacher get everyone in a circle and said. "Ok guys. We did rented a few rooms in Oscorp Hotel which is few floors down. Students would live in a group of two. Boy and Girl. Don't ask we why it is that way. It is how the director of the school decided to do. Now I will list the groups and you can go to your rooms. And don't worry everyone would have their own bed and would be separated by the wall but would have a door so you can visit each other. It is like 2 rooms in 1 room." And then the teacher started to list the groups. "Jack with Amelie, Jonathan with Sophia..." Teacher said. There were a lot more groups she did list but then she named Miles's group. "And Miles. You are with Gwen." Teacher said. Miles's and Gwen's eyes went wide. "Any questions?" Teacher then asked. No one said anything. Everyone was only looking at Gwen and Miles. "Well that's what I thought." Teacher then said and gave everyone a key from their room. Then two big security guards in black suits, and black sunglasses came to Miles and Gwen and one of them said. "Mr. Osborn wants to see you two in his office. Follow us." And security guards started to go towards the elevator, Miles and Gwen followed them. When the elevator arrived Miles and Gwen walked in and then the security guard followed them. Then one of them pushed the highest button in the elevator, doors closed and it started to go up with an incredible speed. Gary's office was on the highest floor in the building which means it was on 101 floor. You couldn't have seen the city from this floor, it was higher than the clouds. On that floor even ears laid. When elevators doors opened the security guard came out and stood on the sides and then Miles and Gwen walked out of the elevator. "Hey, you came." Gary said. "We didn't had a choice." Miles replied. "So why do you need us here?" Gwen asked him. He looked at her and said. "Both of you impressed me how much you know about spiders." Gary started to say. "So, you want us to help you create the antibiotic that would cure uncured diseases in the whole world?" Miles asked. "No! I don't care about the whole world. I need this vaccine to cure my disease. I don't care about others. I don't care about anybody!" Gary screamed and turned around facing the giant window. "Oh. That sounds pretty bad." Gwen said. "And I found a spider venom that would cure me. It was the blood of Spider-Man." Gary continued. That made Gwen and Miles's heart stop for a second. "So then I started to look after Spider-Man I learned everything about him and then one day I was ready to kill him and take his blood so I could heal myself but Kingpin did got ahead of me and killed him!" Gary continued. That made Miles really angry and he wanted just to punch Gary right in his rich face. But Gwen put her hand on Miles's shoulder and stopped him from doing that. "And then, I was so upset that I didn't want to do anyhting. But then the new Spider-Man appeared. And now my goal is to kill him and take his blood!" Gary said and then a lot of different videos appeared behind Gary with Miles flying and fighting crime as Spider Man on the streets of New York. That made Miles really nervous. "So why are you telling this to us?" Gwen asked. "In the school you both always talk about Spider Man. Oh sorry. I meant to say were talking because now you are not friends anymore. So if you would meet by any chance Spider Man, tell him, I'm coming for him." Gary answered. That made Miles even more nervous. "You can go now." Gary then replied. And Gwen and Miles did turned around and walked towards the elevator that opened in front of them and they went to their room.

While Miles and Gwen were going down on elevator they were just looking down the whole time and didn't talk to each other. And Gwen understood that because not every day a person wants to kill you, even if you are a super hero. When both of them also walked down the hall to their room, they also were quiet. And then for the past hour Miles was just laying in his bed trying to get some rest. It was hard for Gwen to see Miles like that so she put on her Spider costume and jumped out of the window to the grocery store to buy something to eat. Because there was no lunch or dinner or breakfast at Oscorp Hotel, which was kinda sad. In 30 minutes Gwen returned back with a bag of some food. She took off her mask and knocked on the door to Miles's room. "Come in." Miles said and then changed his laying position to a sitting position. "Hey Miles. I bought some food. If you are hungry." Gwen said and placed a bag on Miles's bed. "Thanks Gwen." Miles said and pulled a bag towards himself and started to look what was in it. "Can I sit next to you Miles?" Gwen asked. "You know Gwen, you don't need to ask me about that. But yeah you can sit next to me." Miles said looking at Gwen and then she sat on the bed next to him. Then Miles took out two sandwiches and gave one to Gwen. "Thanks." Gwen replied. "Thanks to you. I would be now starving if you would not buy this sandwiches." Miles replied. It looked like the relationship between them is getting better if not Miles would ask a stupid question ever. "So, why would you bring me the dinner and not they guy who was kissing you in a cheek today in the morning?" "What?" Gwen asked and stopped eating her sandwich. "Today in the morning I was walking towards your dorm to ask for forgiveness. And when I was near your dorm I saw a guy walking out of your dorm and then kissing you in a cheek." Miles replied. Gwen scrolled her eyes and then said. "This was one of my friends who lives near me and he asked if I would have a charger." Then she stood up from the bed and went to her room but after he closed the door she said. "You know Miles, I messed up one time but you, you are now just super jealous to everyone. Now you are not the kind of guy who I liked one day and wanted to be friends with." And then she clossed the door and went to sleep. Miles now was feeling really bad. Gwen had a point. And then Miles thought. "She really liked me, but now I screwed everything because I was just jealous." And with that thoughts Miles went to sleep without finishing his sandwich. He really did lost his appetite.
