The hokages office

By the time Hikari woke up it was around noon. There was no kakashi. She slid out of bed looking around. She should of been at training by now, but no one woke her up.

She walked into the living room to find Kushina folding clothes

"Good morning" she sang out

"Why didn't anyone wake me up I'm late"

She didn't stop what she was doing. "Good morning"

Hikari furrowed her brows crossing her arms "morning"

That time Kushina looked up at her and smiled "you won't be going training today. The hokage should be sending someone for you soon"

She blinked. "Ehhh? Did I do something wrong"

Kushina hummed and continued to fold.

"Is that a yes"

Kushina sighed. "No you didn't do anything wrong. I'm not supposed to disclose my information with you. You'll have to wait"

She scratched the back of her head "so what do I do while I'm waiting"

"Hmm. Well you could go clean your room ya know"

Before hikari had a chance to answer her there was a knock on the door. Kushina got up and told her to hurry up and head to the Hokage's office.

It wasn't too far of a walk. She got a chance to walk on the main road which she surprisingly barely did. It was a pretty hot day, hotter than usual. She looked around not really thinking about anything too important. She thought about what she was missing at training. She thought about her apartment and how she missed her room. It wasn't much but it was hers. Then she thought about living with Minato and Kushina. It hadn't been a long time since she began staying there but it was some of the happiest memories she had. Laughing with them, even arguing. It felt like coming home after a long time.

Before she knew it she was knocking at his door, being welcomed in, and standing in front of his desk.

"Hikari uchiha, it's great seeing you."

"You too lord third"

"Well lets not waist time. I've called you here because something urgent has came up. All around the village dead animals were found with the letter O carved into them and snake bites. We believe this is Orochimarus way of saying hi. However that puts you in a very dangerous spot. Now not only do you have the uchiha clan and Orochimaru to worry about but the news of what's going on has spread like wild fire. Not only is the leaf village talking about the uchiha senju genius, but the whole land of fire is, and it's spreading fast."

"I'm not a genius, I-"

"Hikari. Not only have you mastered The second Hokage's jutsu but you've copied a very dangerous jutsu with a single glance. Not to mention figuring out the Chidori. Maybe you aren't skilled in absolutely everything but that's scarily impressive for a girl your age. Not just that but you are only a Genin."

"Lord third please tell me what it is you've called me here for. With all due respect it can't be to talk about a little gossip"

He fixed the papers on his desk. "Right you are. Congratulations hikari..." His voice was laced with sarcasm. "You've earned your spot in the bingo book"

She clutched the fabric of her shirt as her heart sank.
"But-But I'm not... like you said I'm just a Genin. I'm not a threat or a rogue ninja or-"

He laughed "you're telling me after managing to grasp the attention or Orochimaru you aren't a threat. Hikari im not sure you understand. If you unlock the Rinnegan, go with Orochimaru, and learn god knows what. You'll very much be a threat. They are just calling it before it happens"
