When naruto was born was born she had incredible power and embraced her new Sharingan. Kushina kept her promise and sent pictures. He was a beautiful blonde baby boy. They had to seal half the nine tails in him. Which made her heart ache. She wanted to protect him, she loved him even now. He had big blue eyes. Three marks on each cheek.
The first picture she held up was Obito holding naruto with a nervous grin on his face. The next was Kushina laying next to him right after she had him. Minato holding him smiling at the camera. Then one of naruto holding hikaris old ninja headband before she got a black one.
Kushina did not send one with him and kakashi or one with rin. Which made her happy. It hurt knowing she was missing al of that though. That only made her work harder though. Kushina also sent a letter

You won't believe how seeet naruto is. He's always looking up at me with these big eyes, like he knows something I don't. Then he reaches up and grabs at my hair. You can tell he likes it. Hikari felt so happy. She wanted to meet naruto so bad. She loved him so much.
