Kanabi bridge

Hikari's pov (ya the first non 3rd pov)

Waking up early was horrible. It sucked. It was torture. I always tell myself if I power threw it and don't lay back down I'll be fine in atleast 15 minutes but every morning it's a fight to get me up.

"Hikari get up"

Kushinas voice pierced my ears. She scared me, so I reluctantly got up groaning.

"Finally I couldn't get her up for 10 minutes"
Kakashi chimed in laughing.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I just like catching my z's" I yawned stretching

It took me like 5 minutes to get ready anyway. The morning was my least favorite part of the day. On mission days apparently we had to be out the house by 5:14. This time I wished I didn't have to go at all. But I know I'd get salty once I wasn't tired anymore.

No one talked for awhile after saying bye to Kushina and leaving the gates. The morning chill was bad. I walked while shivering. Wearing a cropped shirt doesn't come in handy when it's cold.

Kakashi was walking next to me, sometimes his arm would touch mine, making my heart skip a beat. Eventually I got used to it.

After awhile of walking Minato said

"Alright Hikari we will be dropping you off at this village up here. Please stay low. We will send a hawk if we need you."

Apparently it's rude to talk back so I didn't say anything I just nodded.

I got a room at a inn in the village. There was no telling how long I'd have to stay there. It turns out kakashi was in charge of the mission, while I was away he was promoted to jonin. Once we got home that's what I would be working towards, no way he was gonna surpass me.

I'm going to give u a brief description of what happens during the mission because I don't really know how I can explain it all. Plus I just make this up as I go so nothing is planned.
Minato was soon called to the front lines, leaving the team to complete the mission alone under Kakashi's command. The three were discovered by Iwa-nin along the way and Rin was captured. Kakashi elected to abandon Rin, believing it was more important to finish the mission before concerning themselves with her safety. Obito became enraged at the idea and insisted that they focus on her rescue. When Kakashi refused, Obito left on his own, remarking that Kakashi was worse than trash for abandoning his friends. Obito and Kakashi infiltrated the cave and released Rin from her restraints. Her captor, Kakkō, caused the cave to collapse around them. As the team ran for the exit, Kakashi was struck in his blind spot and fell. When Obito noticed that Kakashi was about to be hit by a falling boulder, Obito pushed him out of the way and became trapped in his place. During this her team mates were also captured but none of them made it out alive. In this story Obito lives
