I imagine the library similar to the one in the photo above.

Loki's pov:

"Where are you going, brother?" Thor asked one morning as I was leaving the palace.

"I'm going to meet Lilly," I replied, I had told him more about her a few weeks ago.

"Have a good time," he boomed and walked away.

I smiled to myself, today was the day I had promised to show Lilly one of my secret escapes, - my library. She has mastered the dagger and the bow and we were now currently working on sword fighting. She had wanted to study and learn, so I promised one day, I'd take her to a place where she could do just that.

It had been almost a year since we were attacked by those vile men in the forest, and Lilly had become my best friend, and I hers. I continued on my path and after a while arrived at the royal stables.

"Yalrock," I called for the keeper of the stables, "bring me my horse ready for a ride."

"Of course my lord," a deep voice answered me, "and make it fast" I added, eager to get going.

About 3 minutes later I was cantering down the street towards where Lilly lived. I slowed to a walk as I entered the small village an hour later and smiled triumphantly when the people bowed as I went by. I loved the feeling of being important, since my family never gave me any evidence they thought so. It made me feel a sense of peace, and power, it was only a shame that I had to come to strangers to get it.

I rode another ten minutes and ended up at a beautiful small house, it had well-kept gardens, protected by a wooden picket fence. A large tree, in full blossom, stood just outside the fence, showering the garden with light pink flowers. I dismounted my black stallion and tied his reins to a low hanging branch on the tree.

I pulled a sugar treat from my pocket and fed it to him. "Good boy," I said gently, patting his soft muzzle, he had been a real comfort all the years I had had him.

I turned from my horse, opened the gate and walked down the path towards the front door. I knocked softly three times, before stepping away and placing my hands behind my back.

"Just a minute," a cheerful voice called and a few seconds later the door opened to reveal Lilly standing in front of me. Her golden hair was up in a messy bun and she was wearing a light green dress with brown patterns along the hem.

"Oh!" She exclaimed, with a surprised look on her face, "I thought I was going to meet you in the woods, I was just about to leave."

"Well, I hope you don't mind," I started, but I took the liberty of thinking you might want to do something different today."

Lilly furrowed her eyebrows, "what kind of different?" She asked.

"I want to show you something at the palace," I explained.

"Oh, I don't think so, I've always wanted to see the palace but; are you sure that's alright?" She stammered.

I smiled, amused at her response, "it's perfectly fine,' I assured her, "my horse is waiting."

She nodded, then called, "I'll be going out for a while mother. I'll be back before dark."

She gently closed the door and walked with me out of the garden, over to my horse, "this is Galaxy, I would have had the driver bring a carriage, but I know you would rather ride," I stated with a smile.

She laughed, "you got that right, I love riding, though I've actually never owned a horse of my own, and I've never ridden in a carriage once."

Then she turned and grabbed my arm suddenly, "I know the royal family do things very properly but don't ask me to ride side-saddle!"
