Gin Forestier possessed a badly strong figure, ruddy cheeks, sharp and determined eyes, and a hair that was changing from ebony to grey. He is the peculiar man from Mirandi who always wear a black leather jacket that reaches the tip of his dim boots.

Gin is hell-bent on training for the upcoming 33rd Lexus Cup. The Grand Lexus Cup is a game that happens every 3 years at their magical world wherein different envoys under the category of special abilities - Teleportation, Healing, Earth, Flame, Water, Light, Wind, Lightning, and Frost - to represent their town. This game is a bloody game. You fight for your life in order to survive. Mirandi had already sent many delegates to join the tournament and this year, Gin's group - Team Shinoa - will join.

He's bound on proving his father that he is the best until a lady who's a replica of him became a substitute of their injured comrade.

"What are you doing here?"

The lady said, "Well I came here to train with you. Isn't it obvious?"

Gin shook his head and scoffed at her. He said, "Look, there's no way we could train together. You're doing this all wrong. What you should do is to leave me alone. Understood? Now, go."

Shia Kelsey, the fearless, badass town girl calmly gaped at him, thought about what he said for a moment and then flashed a teasing grin. "I suppose I won't. I'm set on being with you, team captain."

From then on, Gin and Shia conditioned each other. Their mates believe they're the 'perfect match'. Shia's attribute - the dominative one. She can stop everything including your heartbeat.

After a not-so-long period of time, Gin unwarily fell in love with Shia. But this is completely dissatisfactory on the rules of the said event because they forbid having relationship with other contenders. When they realized what happened, they agreed that right now, they should set aside what's going on between them two.

Fortunately, they succeeded not only in hiding their feelings but also in the game. Team Shinoa is the 33rd Lexus Cup victor! Confident that he already attested that he's the best, he dauntlessly introduced Shia to his father as his significant other.

"Gin and Shia, I can't accept your relationship. You can't be together. I can't... I won't." his father spurned.

"What? Why? Father I did everything for you! I did my best! Why are you doing this to me?" Gin angrily yelled. "Again?" His voice cracked.

"Isn't it still not enough? Do you still think I'm a failure?"

"Tell me!"

"She's Victoria, Gin. She's your long lost sister." Mr. Grey finally spoke.

Everything that is where they are were destroyed. Gin's father and Shia - that is Victoria - were awfully thrown away. He felt different mixed feelings that made him lose control of himself. Everything that he believed to be his are now gone and is not coming back. All that meant very much to Gin were ruined just because of his emotions.
