The Long Lost Sister

Normani's Pov.

"...and I don't know what to do?? Does she like me back? ... Normani? NORMANI. NORMANI!" Lauren yells finally snapping me back to reality.  

"Jeezus! Sorry Lo I've been dozing off a lot lately. Look don't worry about Camila not liking you because it's pretty obvious she does! Plus, when I went to the washroom like a few minutes ago I heard Mila and Dinah having the exact same conversation that we're having, so don't worry!" I said reassuring her. 

"Wait really? What do you think I should do then?" She asks, "Are you ok?".

"Yea yea I'm fine, just tired. I can't wait to get back home so I can catch up on sleep..." I say. "Umm I think you should ask her out because it's obvious that you both like each other!" I stated. I honestly don't understand how oblivious they both are... They've liked each other for like the longest time and just finally realized it. 

"Really? Ok what should I do...?" She asked. All of a sudden she ran out of the room and came back with a notepad and pen? Oh my god Lauren...

"Honestly, what would be the perfect way to ask someone out in your mind?" I said. She thought for a bit, the shrugged, "I don't know. It'd be simple I guess." 

"So like at the park when you two are just walking?" I start giving her ideas. 

"No I'm not cheesy like that. To be honest it would be really blunt and stupid, like at McDonald's or something." She shrugs. I start cracking up laughing, "McDonald's? Seriously?" 

"Or like watching the stars on the roof..." She says starting to stare off into space.

"That's perfect! I have an idea!" I say.

*8:00 p.m. that night*

Camila's Pov. 

"Hey Camz, the stars are gorgeous out tonight c'mon!" Lauren says popping into my room. She takes my hand and leads me towards my closet. She pulls out my ginormous plain black hoodie that Lauren and I got as a joke, from my closet and threw it over top of me. She then led me towards the window? She steps outside onto the roof and waits for me to join her. I cautiously step onto the windows ledge and step down onto the flat roof where I notice a picnic set up. 

We approach what looks like some sort of fast food on top of a blanket underneath the stars with a little candle in the middle. "What's all this?" I ask Lauren curiously. 

"Just something that I put together, now c'mon we don't want the food to get cold!" We both approached the blanket when I recognized, "McDonald's!!" I said excitedly. She giggle before plopping her self down on the blanket gesturing for me to sit down. 

The night went on pretty smoothly, we talked about just simple things and ate our burgers. It was definitely one of the best nights I've ever had. And as soon as I thought that it was over Lauren pulled me close to her as she snuggled herself into the hoodie so we were sharing it. We both layed back and enjoyed each other company.

All of a sudden I started to feel her arms snake around my waist, I felt my breath hitch in the back of my throat. Calm down Camila... just friends, remember?

"Hey Camz?" I here Lauren ask.

"Yea?" I mumbled into her side as we were still cuddling. 

"You know I'm not cheesy right?" She asks. 

Slightly confused as to where this is going I turn to face her. "Well, then that's good." She says. She turn her body so my back is against her front, so I can't see her face, then places her hands on my eyes. What? She takes her hands off of my eyes and I notice something written on them. I grab them to get a better look and across her palm, in marker it says, "Will you be my girlfriend?" 

I turn to look at her, and she's giving me a hopeful smile, "I know I'm not cheesy as fuck either but I hope this answers your question." I say as I smash our lips together and let her scent fill me up. 

Before anything gets to heated we break the kiss panting heavily due to the lack of oxygen and just stare into each others eyes smiling. 

CLICK

"OMG MY CAMREN FEELS!" I hear someone shout.

Sure enough there's Dinah, standing in the window with a camera. "Say cheese!" She says. She takes a billion more shots resulting in a billion blinding flashes. She starts to turn to leave but Lauren calls out to her, "Dinah! One more!" she shouts. She spins me around then pulls me into another passionate kiss, making this the best night ever.

CAMREN CAMREN CAMREN CAMREN. Holy crapp man, was that good? Or no..? Oh and I apologize for not updating for like 20 days but I'm still trying to adjust to the whole 'school' thing... -.- BUT I HOPE THE NEW CAMREN RELATIONSHIP MAKES UP FOR IT.
