It had been a month since Erika got her memory erased. She was doing a lot better, she got along with everyone and was a lot of fun to be around. We all called her E. She was one of us.
And it turns out Thor was right, Loki was alive. He walked into the tower one day and just explained where he was the whole time. He was planning an attack on Thanos only to find we had beaten him first.
The adoptions went over smoothly and now Peter, baby Peter, and Erika were living happily as brother and sister.
As for me, well, I still had my occasional panic attacks, but Peter and Tony helped a lot. I don't know what I'd do without them. I was finally feeling better about my powers. Maybe they weren't as much of a curse as I thought. I smiled to myself. Yep, life was getting pretty good. But then again, I couldn't hold my breath.
