later that day, jack wasn't found anywhere in the building. iris was starting to get worried even though she was sort of mad at him.
"lils, where could he be? what if like something happened to him?? what if his dad took him." she said, covering her mouth. "hey hey! calm down, he's fine. knowing jack, he does sometimes disappear out of no where and then come back." lilia said, trying to comfort iris.
iris nodded, shaking her head. "yeah. you're right. why am i even worried anyways?? jack's been an asshole to me and to you the past few weeks."
lilia nodded, just trying to get iris to chill. she sat down in the nearest chair, sighing and running her fingers through her now, faded pink hair.
"l-let's just go get a coffee." iris said, grabbing her keys and a random sweater, not caring if it was lilia's. "ok, that sounds good!" lilia got up and put her shoes on.
they left within the next few minutes, just wanting to clear their minds.
after a couple minutes of no talking, iris spoke up. "hey lils?" she asked quietly. lilia turned her head to iris, her green eyes filled with sympathy. "what's up?" iris sighed.
"do you think jack's ok?" she said, a thick coat of worry in her voice. lilia looked down at her feet, feeling a pang of jealousy. "y-yes. i do think he's ok. you've gotta stop worrying. it's gonna be fine, promise." she reassured, placing a firm hand on iris' thigh. lilia felt iris' tenseness lower, making her feel better. "ok."

millie was just finishing her homework when she heard a knock at the door.
she pushed her glasses up and looked at the clock on her wall, 4:45.
who could be here so late?
she got up and went down the stairs to see who it was. the door opened up to an unfamiliar curly haired boy that looked similar to finn.
"hi. c-can i help you?" millie asked the seemingly nice guy. he looked at her for a second, lingering his stare before answering.
"yes. i was wondering if you knew where the coffee shop was? i'm sort of new here and i don't really know my way around. i've tried other houses around, but no answers and my phone is dead." the boy explained. millie nodded.
"ah, ok! would you like me to walk you? it's only a few minutes from here." she offered, making the boy smile. "would you? that would be really great. thank you so much." millie smiled at him, "just wait down here one second while i get my things." she said, opening the door more for him.
