one month laterthe last month was very wild. jack got to know everyone and everyone got to know jack.
there was one thing for sure and that was finn's opinion on jack. he didn't like jack, not one bit. his face reminded him of stepping on a lego.
the vibe he got from jack whenever he did something as little as speak he felt like the sky when it rained; sad and gloomy. annoyed even, upset over something. jack spoiled his mood but he tried not to show it.
it didn't help that millie was always asking him if he was ok — not that he didn't appreciate it, because he did — he just wanted to vent to her but he knew that millie enjoyed his company.
another thing he didn't like about jack.
halloween was only a few weeks away and finn couldn't wait. he wasn't going to let jack ruin his love for halloween. him and millie were going to go as an angel and a devil. yes, very cliché, but they didn't care.
it was only the second week of october (october 14) so they still had planning to do, maybe even change their idea.
as of now, finn, millie, sadie, caleb, jack, iris, lilia, rowan, gaten, grace, and noah were out at a frozen yogurt shop not too far away from gaten's place.
they were planning on possibly going there after everyone was finished.
"babe babe babeeee!!" millie said to finn, jumping up and down while holding onto his arm. finn laughed at the silly girl, "whaaat is it mills?"
"i found this picture on pinterest of an angel and devil costume. tell me what you think!" she handed finn her phone, which had a picture of a girl and her supposed boyfriend.
the girl had a skin-tight silky red dress with black heels and a devil headband on. the boyfriend had on a button up t-shirt that was white and opened, with angel wings and a halo headband on. the outfit was basically all white.
finn blushed, thinking of millie in that outfit. "i like the girl, but the one i'd wear seems plain don't you think?" millie rolled her eyes, "duh, babe. this is for inspiration, you nut case. we are inspired by this post, we don't have to copy it exactly."
"if you really don't like it you can maybe paint a button up t-shirt, get creative love."
millie scrolled for a few minutes, "oh! or or we could do thissss!!" millie showed him a picture of superman and lois lane.
"this is really cute!!" he said with a little smirk. "i know it is because you'll look really hot as superman, with those dashing curls of yours!!" millie gushed, tugging on one of his ringlets.
finn blushed again. "alright love birds, stop being all couply and lets get out of hereee." grace said making millie flip her off.
as they began to walk, iris got a call. "i've gotta take this, catch up with you guys in a few." she said. the other nodded and continued to walk except for lilia who stayed back.
it was sophia calling iris to inform her that she had just left.
*******************************
sophia lillis was a busy woman. she had lots to do and people to...... deal with.
her top priority before iris called was fixing her relationship with an old friend she'd cut off years ago. millie knew this old friend, and sophia knew millie. they were a pair of friends you'd least expect to get along.
sophia hadn't seen millie in seven years, right when the issue with her old friend started.
when she got a call from iris she dropped everything else and decided to leave arizona and go to help her. iris was lucky sophia was such a good friend.
as of now, sophia was on a bus to atlanta. she'd come a long way. there were only four more hours on the bus she was taking and she'd arrive at the hotel.
to get from arizona to atlanta she took a seventeen hour flight and then got off of that one and onto another flight that was another four hours.
she was exhausted to say the least, but she felt it was worth it.
hours passed of sophia staring out the window, looking at the same greenery. it was making her dizzy so she decided to call fall asleep.
ten minutes later and she was woken abruptly by the sound of a loud beeping, alerting the passengers that they'd arrived in atlanta.
by then, it was late and she grumpy.
late as in 3am. witching hour as she was told when she was a child. a huff came from her lips as she pulled out her phone, which was almost dead.
right before it died, iris' face popped up on the screen, sophia answered it hoping to get a ride and some food.
"apatow. why are you up so late?" she asked in a teasing tone, earning a scoff from iris on the other end of the line. "checking up on you, clearly. are you in atlanta yet?"
"yes. just got here, i was about to call you to come pick me up please. i'm starving!!" sophia explained, taking a seat on the nearest bench.
"oh, ok! tell me where you are, iris apatow to the RESCUEEEE!" she said in a sing song voice. sophia rolled her eyed, "i'm on melrose."
"see you in 5!" iris said.
*******************************
the next day was hectic. millie was not expecting to see sophia and she almost had a breakdown in the middle of the school day.
"sophia oh my gosh!! is that really you!?" she screamed as she ran towards the red head who was walking outside of the school with iris.
"brown! it's been so long!! how are you?!!" sophia asked, a spark lighting up in her eyes. "i've been... good. you look amazing! the haircut really suits you!" millie complimented.
sophia smiled and hugged millie again. "we have a lot to catch up on dude."
"yes, yes we do."
jack walked past the girls, catching sophia's eye. he glared at her and sophia glared back. she death stared him until she couldn't see him anymore.
jack was lucky he wasn't going to be around for a few days.
