jack's head was full of ideas of how to get millie. he wasn't sure his plan would work.
was it really worth it? was one girl really worth all the trouble he's going through? for pete's sake, he's going back to school for her. how desperate can he be??
right now it was monday so it was his 'first day of school' if you may. "how can i pull off an f-boy in 2018... how do they even dress??" jack mumbled to himself, searching through his dresser for 'f-boy' clothes. "or-or an e-boy... dont girls find them so attractive..." he asked himself.
he pulled out a pair of black jeans, a striped long sleeve and a nirvana band shirt from his father.
his father...
he shook his head, immediately getting his father out of his head. his father was something he did not wanna think about.
his eyes flicked up to the clock on his wall, reading 7:47. "shit." he mumbled, "looks like i'm going to look like a homeless person today." then he threw on ripped jeans and the closest t-shirt he could find. (before any of y'all hate, if u dress like this u do NOT look like a homeless person. this is JUST jack's character. ok thank u, bye now!).
"do i even have time to eat??" he looked at the clock once again, 7:50. "how the hell-?" he shook his head, grabbing some shoes and his keys. then he left. "hey, siri, locations to hawkins high." he said once his phone connected to the bluetooth in his car. right before he was about to leave, iris stopped him.
"and where do you think you're going??" she asked. jack scoffed, "why do you care? you aren't the boss of me. move." he spat. iris scoffed as well, "excuse me for trying to be nice. looks like you could use a few lessons."
jack just rolled his eyes, "now. where are you going?" she asked once again, this time more aggravated. jack pinched the higher part of his nose, trying not to loose his cool. "none of your business, iris. i won't say it again!"
the car's engine started and jack began to move. iris yelped, stepping away with tears welling in her eyes. she watched jack drive away, hatred building up in her stomach. she sniffled and walked away.

a ding from millie's phone startled her.
the teacher looked up from what they were working on in millie's direction. "ms. brown please make sure your phone is on silent to keep it from disrupting work time, put it away." millie nodded.
she peeked at it under the desk, an unknown number appearing on the screen.
unknown: excited to see me today?
