it was time.
finally time for jack's plan to be complete.
for it to take action.
thrilled was an understatement. he was ecstatic and he could not wait until it finally set into stone.
there were only a few more things left to do.

for the past hour, lilia and iris had been arguing quietly about who would go and find jack.
iris said she would do it, she claimed to 'know jack better' than lilia. she didn't deny it, but lilia still wanted iris to be safe.
it was lilia's fault after all. but she wouldn't tell iris she felt that way.
"no —! i said that i would do it, i don't want to argue anymore. just please, bee, let me do this." iris said, calling her bee because that's the name she knew her by. not lilia but bee. they grew up together.
fake identities was the thing that tore them apart. she rarely called her bee, but when she did, it was for something important.
lilia's shoulders dropped. she hesitated for a moment. "... alright!! but you need to keep me on comms the whole time."
iris smiled, "thank you thank you! i will, let me go get them from my bag." lilia scoffed, watching iris walk over to her bag, digging through it.
she found the comms and tossed one to lilia. she kissed her softly before grabbing her keys. "i'll be back before you know it."
she walked out the door, without a word to the others. "uh, where is she going??" rowan asked. lilia shrugged, "to help i hope."
rowan looked away and lilia's eyes turned to the others, who were still trying to find a way to get in contact with millie.
not soon after iris left, sadie got a suspicious call. it was a no caller ID. "should i answer it?" she asked, picking up her phone. lilia bit her nails, knowing that it would be jack.
"don't." lilia said, "w- no! what if it's millie??" noah said, looking at her with worried eyes. lilia felt herself getting small under all of the pressure suddenly put on her. "why would she not answer it?" caleb asked, raising an eyebrow."
lilia gulped. "because. millie was..... taken or s-something and this person probably knows where she lives, her friends names, where WE live... w-what if that's the person who took milli-"
