the annoying alarm went off on the early monday morning of september 17th, making each teen groan.
yep, they'd fallen asleep after eating dinner at finn's house. it was no big deal though, finn's parents weren't home very often anyways.
most of the time he was alone. and when they were home, he usually wasn't.
millie was the first to get up, even though finn kept pulling her in and telling her 5 more minutes. "somebody's gotta make breakfast around here, sweetie." she told him before getting up.
he pouted for a moment, then he got up. it was only fair that he helped her make breakfast. she was staying at his house after all. "you make the bacon, i'll make the eggs." millie said, finn nodded.
the brunette decided to play some music, cause it was too quiet.
"finn what's your preference? camp rock or the greatest showman?" millie asked, opening spotify. he thought for a second before saying the greatest showman. millie clapped in excitement, pressing play on the playlist.
the first song to come on was come alive, which millie and finn loved.
well, they loved all of the songs. "you stumbled through your days, got your head hung low, the skies a shade of gray. like a zombie in a maze..."
finn chuckled at millie swaying her hips to the beat. (ahaaa! the song came on my playlist rn).
"you can flip the switch and brighten up your darkest days." finn started.
a few minutes later sadie woke up, in a very good mood may i add.
"afraid to step outside! so you lock the door, but don't you stay that way!!" sadie sang, waking everyone else up.
"guys, the greatest showman?? really??" gaten asked, standing up to stretch. "yes gaten, do you have a problem with that???" millie asked, getting up in his face with the spatula.
gaten laughed, shaking his head no. "come on guys, go get dressed or whatever and when you're done breakfast will be ready." millie ordered, like a mother.
they all listened, going upstairs to change and get ready. all that jazz.
"finn, do you have anymore eggs? three isn't enough for all of us." millie asked, and finn put down the fork he was using to make the bacon, nodding and running down to the garage to get the extra eggs they always had for some reason.
