a sigh came from millie's chapped lips, dreading what's to come. it would be hard to talk about the situation that had happened six months ago. (wow has it really been that long!?)

finn took a seat on her bed. "y-you know, can we actually take a walk and talk about this?" millie asked, finn nodded. "cmon." he said, walking out of her room and putting his hand out for her to hold which she gladly did.

millie slipped her converse high tops on and grabbed her keys and phone. then they walked down the street in silence for a few minutes, the only sound being their steady heartbeats.

finn was the first one to break the silence. "i- i know i've already said this before, but i'm sorry millie. i'm sorry for what i did. it was a stupid decision, but at the same time it wasn't, if i didn't accept the dare then i would've never experienced happiness like i did when we were dating. yes, maybe the first two days or so was faking it but after that i fell in love wit you — a-and i would do anything to feel that way again. i really cant change my past actions because what's done it done. i wish i could undo how you found out, i wish we would just start over because millie, you mean everything to me and i can't go on without you. i know that's cheesy, but it's true. and it's because i love you." finn said.

millie sniffled, tackling him with a hug. she nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck, trying to hide the smile on her face. "i love you too finn." she choked out. "and i know you're sorry. i-i forgive you. i'm sorry too, i really am. i was so harsh on you and i didn't let you explain from your side of the situation. a-and i was really angry and confused for a long time. but, now, i'm not angry or confused anymore." she said, making finn smile.

"i want that happiness back too." she said which made finn smile. he smiled so big, making millie smile too. "there's only one thing left to do!" finn said, "millie, will you go on a date with me?"

"yes of course silly." she said with a smile. finn got up and hugged her, making her giggle. "now let me go so i can kiss you."

finn released millie from his grip, moving his hands down to her waist. millie cupped his cheeks, leaning in and tilting her head.

their eyes fluttered closed and their lips finally met.

this kiss was no ordinary kiss, it was filled with passion and warmth. their lips moved in sync as they smiled into the kiss.

it lasted about 30 seconds and then finn pulled away, catching his breath. millie bit her lip and acted all shy, looking down. her hand was caressing finn's cheek which made his stomach feel warm.

"let's go princess." he said, intertwining his hand with her small one.

they walked along the road, seeing a school bus parked across the street. "wait! millie go sit on the sidewalk right here, and pose or something." finn said, taking his phone out.
