Chapter 15

Journey back begins.

'Alex'

We reached the village with in munits. We ran into merage moments later. "Whats going on?" She asked Elena quickly explaind and merage climed on Vee's back. The exctra weight dident seem to slow her as we ran into the trees. We where starting the journey back.

'Vee'

Finally we where on our way back to the snpa. Merage on my back and Crystal dident seem to slow me at all. We ran for the rest of the night and well into the next day. We finally stopped in a clearing. We could still see smoke rising from the peek of the mountian. Crystal handed back the orb. I wanderd off to the trees as the outher stood around planing on how we should continue. I watched the flower float and twirl in the ball. The colour of the flower had changed, it was now a pink, blue and white. There where many petals. I stared at the orb as a small swirle of electric purple smoke formed at the bottom of the orb. It began to glow, the whole ball glowed. It began to shrink. Moments later a neclace sat in my hands.

It was a silver chain, the charm was a small glass ball containing the flower. Just shrunk. I took the necklace and unclasped it. I was lifing it to my neck when a hand closed around mine. It was alex, for the wrist had the bracelet i had bought him for his birthday. Alex took the necklace and put it on my neck. He turned me around and kissed me. He held on to my sholder and then slid his hands down to my wrists. As he did, pain ripped throigh me. I gasped and collapsed. Alex kneeled beside me. The pain spread through me and i screamed. It was the bit from the lizard thing. Why is this stuff happaning to me? I thought

'Alex'

"Merage!" I yelled.

Vee was in pain. As she screamed and wreithed, she ripped a bandage from her arm. Under neath was a gash from just below her sholder to her elbow. Merage came running up. She saw the cut and turned pale white.

"When did this happen?" She asked.

Vee, screaming her answer replied "in the cave. There where this lizard like things and one bit me. I ripped it off and bandaged it up."

Merage swore several times.

"a malum bite." She murmed.

Vee was wriething on the ground and i saw why. The injury was spreading. It was travleing down the rest of her arm and onto her neck.

"Merage! Help her!" I yelled.

She grabbed onto vee's arm, blood running through her fingers. Vee screamed lowder. By now the outhers had arrived and where all staring. Katherine turned and left, but elena stayed. Merage's hands glowed a neon green, different then from befor. The spreading stopped. Merage placed her hand on vee's heart and began murmering incantations. Vee fell silent and her eyes closed. Vee shon, bright light emiting of every inch of her skin. The wounds closed and revealed jagged scars.

'Elena'

I stood there watching as vee's wounds closed up. Vee was still and silent, Barley breathing. What happend? What had injured her? I was worried. For alex's sake.

'Alex'

Merage had fineshed healing vee. Merage sat back on her heels. She was coverd in blood. I shiverd.

"Thats all i can do. She is going to stayed scared for a long while. We need to keep moveing so alex, you will have to carry her." I nodded.

I said "lets clean up first. U go was up in the streem. It'll be cold but you will survive. Ill take vee and wash her up. Oh and how long till she awakes?"

Merage shrugged "dunno, but perhaps you should get a girl to clean her up?"

Elena stepped forward. "I will do it. I can controll my thirst." I nodded and let her take vee away. Merage left and i went to another brook to wash up.

'Elena'

As i carried Vee, i saw just how much blood had soaked into her. Her hair was drenched, as where her clothes. I reached the bank and layed vee down. I heard a rustling by the trees. I turned as my sister stepped out.

"Will you be ok?" I asked, refering to her thirst.

She nodded. I saw her eyes where soft. She must have hunted befor she came.

"Wanna help me here than?" I raised an eyebrow.

She smiled, revealing her pointed fangs. "Sure. Ill strip her down and you wash her."
