chapter 21

Back on the island.

'Vee'

Eventually, new years came and went. Half way through the month of january, we entered a deep forest. After a few days inside the woods, we came out into a small town. I instantly remembered. This was the spot where my friends and i started our journy. On the outher side of the ocean on the outher side of town, sat the island of the SNPA. We began to walk through the town. We all chattered exitedly.

"I cant believe we are almoste back! I cant wait to see every one again." Rebecca said.

I was about to open my mouth to agree when Caose erupted.

'Alex'

Rea was attacking again. We all picked up the pace. Somethign exploded near us and vee fell.

"Keep going! We'll catch up!" I shouted at the outhers over the roaring.

I helped vee up. Next thing i knew vee scooped me up and got me out of the path of an explosion. We flew over the town, avoiding blasts of fire.

'Vee'

One ball of fire careeded towards me. I tried to avoid it and in the process a boulder cracked against my skull, nocking me out cold.

'Alex'

As we fell, i did the first thing tha popped into my head. I wrapped my self around my mate to protect her from the impact of the ground. We crached into the the shallow water of the ocean, creating a huge splash. My back cracked of the bottom and i couldent help but cry out in pain. My head was above water.

'Azura'

Oh my god! Alex just fell into the water with vee. We had watched alex cover vee to protect her. We could hear him cry ot in pain as he landed in the shallow water. We all rushed to help him. As alex carryed vee out, we could see rea's men coming towards them. Every one, Elena, Katherine, Jade, Rebecca, Crystal, merage and i created a line in front of Alex and Vee. I could emedietly sense alex's surprise. The men stopped and turned and left. I smiled and turned back to alex. Vee groaned in alex's arms and slowly opened her eyes.

"Your ok." Alex said and hugged her into his chest.

They where both soaking wet and shivering. I watched elena and katherine take there coats off and put them around alex and vee. We stayed on the beach for a bit. Vee was alright. No concussion. As for alex, he had a few cuts but that was it. Merage offered to heal him, but he refused.

'Vee'

Now that i was awake, Azura told me how alex had sheilded me from the impact of falling. I smiled. After a bit i stood up.

"Alright, so how are we going to get across this water?"

Azura and jade looked at each outher, seemed to get and idea and they both jumped up they ran to the waters edge and next thing we knew, a path of roack roase and surfaced.

"Here is your way, our powers are stronger when we are together." Azura said.

We all smiled and got going. We ran for what seemed like hours befor we came to the outher end. Once we got off onto solid ground, the path crumbled.

'Rebecca'

Vee smiled at the twins. We where on a part of the island we had never been to. Alex began to lead the way, using the holo map. Once we where deep in the woods, something happened that left us all shocked. Alex vanished. Only his coat was there. Vee freaked. She shed her coat and sped off. Oh my god! Whats going on!
