Vivian's pov

I walked into my mom and dads house and upstairs to my room, I could hear Ashton's footsteps behind me but I chose to ignore them.

"Just talk to me damnit."

"No."

I walked down the hall and into my room. I shut the door only for Ashton to open it seconds later.

"You're being real damn childish." He snapped before grabbing my wrist and turning me so that I was facing him.

"You yelled at me for no reason. Right after you proposed."

"Just because I proposed to you doesn't mean I'm about to change who I am. If you yell at me I'm going to yell back. That fucking simple." I pulled away from him and took off my sweatshirt, then my pants.

"You're making me heartless." I told him. "You fucked me up and I really wish you didn't."

"You can't unfuck what's already fucked." Ashton grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. "I didn't make you heartless Vivian."

"Can you let me go?" I asked looking at his large hands.

"Never." Ashton raises one hand and cupped my chin in his hand, he leaned down and kissed my lips softly. "Stop yelling at me and I'll stop yelling. That's simple."

"You scare me when you yell." I told him.

"And you don't think you scare me? You almost stabbed me one time. Remember that?" I chuckled and looked down. "Hey, you may be a woman but you're a pretty fucking scary woman."

"Thanks." I kissed Ashton's lips once more before I pulled away again. I grabbed his hand and led him to the bed. "We're having this conversation without the arguing. Without the yelling. Okay?"

Ashton rolled his eyes but nodded and sat on the edge of the bed. I took my hairbrush off my nightstand and sat down, I began brushing out my long blonde hair.

Leah's pov

When I walked in Brenton's house I wanted to lay down and snuggle, but instead I walked into the living room and saw Carson sitting beside Brenton.

"Hello?" I spoke up and they both looked at me. "Okay, I've had a pretty shitty day okay, so get out before you piss me off."

"Why're you being like this? We got in an argument, that's it. Why're you being so angry?" Carson asked and I watched Brenton stand up, he walked to me and kissed my cheek.

"Behave." He whispered into me before walking away. I looked at Carson and she gestured to the sofa in front of her.

"Can we please just sit and talk?" I sat where Brenton was sitting moments ago and looked at Carson stomach. She was still really small but the bump was still cute.

"Go ahead."

"Why did you get so mad about what I said?" She asked softly.

"Because you saying that is proving that what everyone else says is true."

"What do you mean?"

"My mom used to tell me that no matter how much she likes Brenton he'll always be wayside and he'll always be the type of guy to fuck up. Sam used to say the same thing. Even tony used to tell me I was to good for him. Then you said it and it's like everything was true because you're the most understanding person I know."

"I'm understanding of everyone but I know when people mess up Leah, don't think I can't see right from wrong." Carson said.

"I know, but I don't want to think of Brenton as some guy that has to take orders from wayside and can't make up his own mind. Or as some guy who would hurt me because someone told him to, or just because he's immature and doesn't see right from wrong." I looked up at Carson and she gave me a tight smile.

"And yet you still love him?"

"He's been my best friend. He's always there and he knows everything about me." I said. "Yea I love him."

"Even with wayside?" I nodded and she smiled.

"I mean if my parents can accept him for wayside, then I guess I have to too."

"How do they even know about wayside?" Carson asked. I couldn't help but smile when I noticed her getting more comfortable around me again.

"You know how Brenton's great granddad was the one who started wayside?" She nodded. "Well, Brenton obviously joined and since we knew each other at that age, he told me about it. I told my mom and dad one day that Brenton and Tony couldn't come over because of wayside. They didn't know what that meant at first so my mom called Brenton's mom, you know to check in on him since she hasn't seen him in a couple of days.

"When she called his mom was drunk and spilled the secrets of wayside." Carsons face turned to shock. "Yea, I know crazy right. And so my mom and dad stopped allowing Sam and I to see Brenton and tony, but we still were able to find time to see them. And I guess over time my mom was able to convince my dad that they're not bad people and we were able to just hang out like usual."

"Wow, I thought there was going to be like a whole 'gang war' or something." She said with a chuckle.

"It's really not like that, actually. I mean in all honesty Brian isn't that bad of a guy as far as I know. I mean he treats the wayside members like family and if you're in a mess he'll actually help you out of it so, it's not that bad." I explained.

"Do you actually enjoy it?"

"No, but if I lets me keep Brenton, I'll do it."

"Oh."

I knew Carson was trying not to speak on it, I knew it wasn't healthy but, I was willing to give it a try. "How's your pregnancy going?" I asked.

"I'm in the first month of my second trimester. I felt the baby move for the first time last week actually. It was such a small movement but it was definitely one."

"You really don't want to know the gender yet?"

"Actually we're having a gender reveal in two weeks. I couldn't exactly invite you before now, but I'd love it if you came." Carson smiled at me with pleading eyes.

"I'll be there." I told her. "Have you thought of the names?"

"We changed them from the first time we thought of them, but were going with Avie or Grey."

I smiled and looked at her stomach again. "I literally can't wait. I love babies." Carson chuckled and nodded.

"Me too."
