The flight home was just as long as the flight there, except this time we had to deal with an angry couple arguing nearly the whole flight. At the airport I kissed Brenton goodbye and watched him climb into his car, I got in the back seat of my dads suv.
After only eight hours of sleep, I woke up and got ready for school. I wore a pair of shorts and a plane black T-shirt, I threw my hair into a pony tail and brushed my teeth, I put on some mascara.
"Hey." Sam said as I walked passed her bedroom door, I turned and looked at her.
"Hey." I said smiling.
"It's our first day back to school in a week, why're you not dressing up?" She asked with a whine.
"When do I ever dress up?"
"Exactly. Go change." I rolled my eyes and looked at her outfit, she wore a red T-shirt dress and black sandals.
"Not happening." I tightened my pony and walked down the stairs. "Hey mom."
"Hey hun." She slid a bowl of cereal my way and then a spoon. I thank her and dug in. "About your dad walking in on you and Brenton, he didn't think about you not being dressed."
"There was nothing going on. Brenton sleeps with his shirt off mom, that's it. He should have knocked. Just like I ask him to at home."
"I know leah." And yet you still put up with him. I took a deep breath and picked up my bowl, I put it on the sink and smiled at my mom.
"Have a great day." I said, she nodded her head.
"You too."

Sam and I walked into the school, I immediately went to my locker and smiled at Brenton. He hugged me and kissed my cheek.
"Oh my god!" I quickly pulled away from Brenton and looked at Carson, she had the hugest smile and quickly hugged Sam then me. "How was Dubai?"
"It was good, cars." I said.
"You look so good, you have gorgeous skin. So tan." She lifted my arm and looked at the honey tan that I knew would fade in the next month or two.
"Thank you." I said and looked at Brenton. He smiled and kissed my lips softly.
"Have you seen Cason anywhere?" Carson asked Sam.
"No, I just got here." She said. "How're you guys doing?"
"Good, if I could find him."
After a few more minutes of hanging around my locker, Cason walked up. "Twigs here." Tony said.
Cason rolled his eyes and hugged Carson, she smiled bright and kissed his lips. I looked away from the kiss, feeling like I was intruding on a intimate moment. I looked at the wall where a sky view picture of our school was hanging, class of 2018 in block letters above the photo.
"You pierced your tongue?" I heard Carson ask in a shocked voice. I looked at her and Cason, he was looking down at her. "Why?"
"Just wanted it." Was all he said, he itched the back of his neck and I noticed the bloody blush that was spreading in his cheeks.
"You only get something done to your body if it means something to you." She said, I looked at Sam who shrugged her shoulders.
Why was it such a big deal?
"Last time I had dinner with your family you said they hated that I'd accidentally curse in front of them, I got the piercing in hopes that It would help me stop doing it." Cason said licking his lips, I noticed the silver ball.
