As I hurried through the final hall, leaving wet footprint behind me, I prepared myself for what was to come. Finally I saw the red and gold door. I burst through and found myself in a bed room, My eyes found the bed and went wide, "Keith!" I called out rushing to his side. The red paladin groaned as I brushed some of his hair from his face, his eyes narrowed, "(N/N)?" I smiled, "Yeah... just hang on okay? I'm gonna get you out of here." As I said that, Ava's image appear, "Welcome to your final task! Four objects, four sins, four chains. So, you ready brother?"

I stood up from the bed, "Get on with it Ava." She smiled, her image disappearing. A door opened up behind me, and before I could turn, I was thrown into a wall. "That's no way to speak to your little sister." I groaned, as I got up from the floor. There, sitting beside Keith, with the red paladins head in her lap, was Ava in the flesh. "After all, I hold all the cards." She ran her hand through his hair and I watched as he shift uncomfortably in his weak, half conscious state. "Leave him alone Ava." I growled. She laughed, sending her twisted grin in my direction, "You aren't exactly in a position to tell me what to do. And you are wasting time."

I stayed silent, which seemed to satisfy Ava. "Let's begin then shall we?" She snapped her fingers, a large sword fell into my hands, "Do you remember this? The blade used during that fight..." I glanced down at it, "You dishonored him that day? Remember?" I stabbed the blade into the ground, "Wrath... and I remember it all to well." She smiled, waving her hand as one of the chains on Keith ankle disappeared, "Good... It's nice to know you remember some of the past. Next, what about the one you left behind, left lost and alone?" Another snap of the fingers and a light blue pendent landed in my palm.

"Sloth..." I mumbled. This seemed to easy... way to easy considering the kind of games I had seen Ava play with people she saw as enemies and she never did anything like this. She was basically giving me the answers. "Correct! Now two more left!" Another chain faded from Keith. "Next... I don't have any items for the last two, but... the next sin is one you are very familiar with. white as a dove and--" I cut her off, "Guilt..." I looked down, Ava laughed. "And I guess you know the last one... the sin that affected us all... your sin." I realized at this point, what she was doing.

The tone of her voice had changed. When once it sounded insane and unhinged, she now sounded hurt, saddened, and it hit me. She felt hurt by my absence. She felt abandoned, she felt betrayed. I smiled a little, guilt and sadness were the emotions behind it. This was why my sin was what it was, and why I would not be able to change it. I walked over to her, Ava's head was down, she was no longer playing with Keith's hair, nor did she grin. Instead she looked as though she were going to cry. My big brother instincts kicked in, I sat on the bed. Gently moved Keith's head from her lap, and pulled my little sister into my lap. Wrapping my arms around her. "My sin... is betrayal..."

Like that, Ava broke down. Burring her head in my shoulder. I ran my hand through her hair, whispering calming words into her ear. "I'm sorry Ava... I messed up. Everything happened so fast. Izaya and I... we want to come back for you all... but there was so much to do..." She pulled back and I wiped her tears away. I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, "And right now, I need to save Keith and help them stop Zarkon... I want to stop Father... free you and our sibling. Give you all the life you should have had." She pouted a little, returning to her childish nature, "But I wanna go with you~ Father's mean and I hate having to work with Zarkon." She made a disgusted face.

I laughed, "Okay... You can come with me." Her face lite up, but I raised my hand, "But... Kiren and the Paladins will take some time to ajust to having you around, and the princess and Coran will probably take far longer." Her face dropped, "Oh... I suppose I didn't make the best first impression... huh?" I smiled sadly, and nodded, "But don't worry. I won't leave this time... okay?" She smiled, and nodded. Removing the final chains from Keith and stood up. I thanked her, gently picked up Keith. He groaned, curling up into my chest. I was about to use my shadows, but Ava raised her hand, "Wait."

She opened up a video feed, "I see you sent the paladins to their lions. one moment," She clicked her fingers and a clone of her appeared by the red lion. "Red has been loaded on to a ship. My clone will fly it to the Altean castle you arrived on. Now, let's get to your friends ship." Before I could respond, Ava placed her hand on my shoulder, and snapped her fingers. In the blinked of an eye, we were in Kiren's ship. I placed Keith down in one of the bed type things in the back. Securing it so he wouldn't fall off durring take off. Ava sat in the passengers seat, and I sat at the helm. "Time to go home. The game has finally ended."
