Michael woke the next morning with Felicity's head resting on his chest and his arms draped over her back, if he had a choice he would probably stay in that position forever. He moved slightly so he could watch her sleeping, he didn't know why he wanted to do this but it was something he'd seen in the movies. He laughed to himself as Felicity made a ridiculous amount of faces in her sleep and most of the time her mouth was wide open and drool was threatening to spill, it definitely wasn't like a movie.

Things were awkward between the two bands, well more than awkward. Really, to say it was awkward would be an understatement. Ashton was the only one who witnessed the Michael/Felicity/Jeremy debacle but immediately told everyone else once the trio were out of earshot. So news of what happened spread like wildfire, it even reached Liz; who couldn't help but agree that Michael and Felicity would make an adorable pairing.

It was awkward between Jeremy and Felicity because, while she had forgiven him for lying to Michael and preventing their relationship to take off, she was still aware that he had feelings for her that were going to take a lot to shake off. It was awkward for Matt and Isaac who didn't know if they were expected to take sides if some argument were to occur, though they both would refuse to choose between their friends. It was awkward for Ashton and Calum because they didn't know if Michael had some anger toward Jeremy and presumed they would share his frustration.

The only member of the two bands that found any humour in the situation was Luke, he couldn't help but laugh.

"It's so cliché!" He chuckled during soundcheck as Calum was practicing the bassline of Disconnected before they did a full run through.

"How is it cliché?" Michael questioned, glaring at his best friend from across the stage.

"You two despised each other not three weeks ago and now you have romantic feelings for one another, don't get me wrong I think you two would be great for each other, but come on you have to admit it's like a shitty movie."

Michael rolled his eyes at the singer and walked over to Ashton's drumset, sitting on the edge of the raised platform and looking up at the oldest of the group, hoping he would tell Michael the completely opposite to what Luke had said.

"It is kind of like a movie Mikey." Ashton spoke, earning a glare from Michael. "I'm not saying that's a bad thing though, have you seen 10 Things I Hate About You?"

Michael nodded his head, of course he'd seen it. Heath Ledger was in it and one summer back in Australia, Michael made it his mission to watch every movie Heath Ledger ever starred in, including Brokeback Mountain; which he wouldn't admit publicly but was one of his favourites and even reduced him to tears at one stage.

"Well, it's like that-" Ashton offered but was cut off by a giggling Luke Hemmings.

"But it's also like the terrible movies, 27 Dresses, The Proposal, What Happens In Vegas, When Harry Met Sally, Leap Year?"

"Dude, all that shows is you have a scarily extensive knowledge of chick flicks..." Calum laughed as he joined in the conversation. "I, for one, think we should leave Mikey alone. He and Felix aren't even together, they've just grown the balls to admit they like each other."

The rest of the soundcheck went smoothly, they ran through the beginning song and the ending song a few times before Michael insisted that because they were in New Jersey that they play a My Chemical Romance cover during their soundcheck.

"Teenagers scare the living shit out of me!" Calum screeched into the microphone, he and Michael decided as a collective that Luke would not be allowed to sing swear words until he turned eighteen. They just found it hilarious to discipline the youngest boy, Michael finding it especially funny.
