Fifteen

Selena was awoken by loud pounding at the door. She checked her time, it was 7 am.

Selena: Urgh! Why dont people treasure sleep?

She opened the door to a happy Ava who looked like she was wearing the same clothes as the campfire.

Selena: Ava! Do you know what time is it now?

Ava: I know! But I cant wait any longer. I had to come here.

Selena: Why? What happen?

Ava started blushing hard.

Selena: (still confused) come on Ava! Its 7 in the morning so spill before I knock it out of you!

Ava: I spent the night with Tony.

Selena opened her eyes so wide it might just pop out.

Selena: What?!?! You spent the night? OMG that is fast!

Ava: shhhh... Its 7 am! You dont have to tell the entire hotel!

Selena: Ok spill! I want every detail!

Ava: Well, when we were buying the drinks for the campfire, we were chatting in the car about you and Nathan. He was still apprehensive about this whole thing but he is trying to let things go slowly.

Ava: I told him it is nice to have what you have. Someone who looks at me the way Nathan looks at you. He suddenly blurted out, "Would you want to have that with me?" I then turned to look at him. He was nervous I could tell but he looked at me anyway and I knew he was so genuine about it. I smiled at him and said Yes!

Selena: Oh my god! That is so sweet!

Ava: Yeah so we kinda kept it during the campfire but when we walked back, he asked whether we wanna spend some time you know getting to know each other better. We went back to his room and after the most amazing kiss of my life, we sort of you know ravish each other.

Selena: Eww eww eww! That is my brother! (Shutting her ears)

Ava laughed and smile at the same time.

Selena: You really like him dont you.

Ava: Yes! I do! But it is all so new. Im so scared I screw it up you know with my big mouth.

Selena: Dont worry babe. He adores you! However messed up u are disturbing me at 7 in the morning!

Ava threw a pillow at me and we both rolled on the floor laughing when the doorbell sounded.

Selena: Who is it?

Nathan: Its me baby.

Ava swoons mockingly at Selena and got a pillow thrown at her smack in the face.

Selena opened the door to find Nathan looking as dashing as ever in his white tee and board shorts.

Nathan: Hey. I thought you might want to head to the beach for a bit before breakfast?

Selena: Oh sure! That sounds great. Let me change out. Just make yourself comfortable. Ava is in here.

Ava: Ohĺ no dont mind me. Im about to leave. You two have fun! Bye Nathan.

She winks before closing the door behind her.

Selena: Erm, let me change. Give me a minute.

Selena went into the bathroom to change into a green tank top and white leggings. She freshen up before stepping out.

Nathan is just sitting on the couch and upon hearing me, he stood up and eyes me up and down.

Nathan: Wow. You look gorgeous.

Selena smiled and return the compliment.

As they walked hand in hand on the beach, Selena asked whether he wants to play 20 questions.

She knows he has things he cant tell her but she is curious about the other parts of his life.

He was a sport and said he will try his best to answer what he can answer.

Selena: Ok Ill start. Favourite colour?

Nathan: Black. You?

Selena: Green.

Nathan: Favourite animal?

Selena: Pandas. U?

Nathan: Erm.. i think tiger

Selena: Siblings?

Nathan: A younger sister.

They went back and forth answering and laughing till the questions became more serious.

Selena: First kiss?

Nathan: 2 weeks ago.

Selena froze.

Nathan: With you.

Selena: How? Are u serious? Why? U.. serious?

Nathan: Woah. Easy. Im hurt you dont believe me.

Selena: How could I? Girls practically throw themselves at you. Dont tell me not even once.

Nathan: Nope. Never. That is one thing important to me. I want it to be special and with someone special.

Selena was so touched she teared up.

Nathan: Hey.. Whats wrong?

Selena: Nothing. Im truly honoured to be your first and hopefully your last.

Nathan kiss her and they lay down on the sand completely unaware of their surrounding just enjoying the most passionate kiss they both have experienced.

When they broke apart, he led her back into the hotel to join the rest for breakfast.

The day went by with breakfast and a quick dip in the pool before they had to check out of the hotel. It was a real quick getaway but nevertheless they enjoyed it very much.
