Leo POV

I just got off the phone with Ginny.

I breathe out a sigh of relief knowing they are coming here to help look for her. Its been a month. I have been to various cities in Japan but nothing. She didnt leave any records.

Damn this girl is good at hiding and disappearing.

Im in Hokkaido and it is snowing. Ive been here a few days. I rented a small airbnb to stay.

Nathan and his family will be flying into Tokyo and Ill join him in a couple.

In the last few days, Ive grown to love it here. It is peaceful.

I walked into a cafe to escape the cold. I turned to the back where the sofa seats are at and was stumped in my tracks.

On the sofa, a familiar brunette so focused on her reading with her glasses twirling the ends of her hair is the same girl Ive been searching for the whole month.

I walked slowly to her. She didnt notice that Im approaching.

"Still has your nose in books I see?"

She looked up stunned.

Selena: (She whispered) Leo?

Selena POV

I miss him so much.

I miss his touch, his kiss.

I miss my family and my friends.

This past month had been a rollercoaster. The moment I touched down I knew I need to disappear where they couldnt track me.

Ive loved Japan all my life. I learnt Japanese as an elective during freshmen year in college. I wanted to visit, to immerse in the culture and learn their values.

Being able to converse in the language does not make life so much easier. It lessen the miscommunication but life was hard at the start.

I took a domestic flight to Hokkaido where I found a job tutoring English. It doesnt pay so much but enough for my rental and necessities.

I looked out the cafe window where I was seeking shelter from the cold after my lesson. It has been a month. Gosh time really fly. My heart still aches for him. Always.

I turned to the book in my hands. The book given by Beth to me. Ive reread the book so many times but couldnt find in my heart to put it down. It is one item that makes me feel closer to him.

"Still has your nose in books I see?" A voice speaks to me, in such a gentle tone.

I looked up and was stunned.

I whispered. "Leo?"

Oh my god. He found me. Someone actually found me.

"Leo?" I repeated confused.

Leo: Hi Selly.

He took the seat in front of me.

Leo: You certainly didnt make it easy to find you.

"How? How did you then?"

Leo: How are you Selly?

He ignored my question with a sad smile.

"Good." I lied

Leo: Liar. You are not a very good liar but you sure could pull this off. Sending everyone into madness.

I dropped my head, tears rushing to flow.

Leo took my hand.

Leo: I miss you Selly. I miss you very much.
