She looked over at him anxiously. His arms seemed to be gripping the lead pipe too tightly for her liking. She especially did not like the way he seems to be slipping off the edge. Metaphorically and literally. She raised an eyebrow at him trying to keep her voice quiet, "are you scared?" He glared at her with wild eyes.
"No," he retorted, "I have this terrified look on my face 'cause I'm having so much fun."
