    "People always told me to be easy on the eyes," she scoffed, her tone condescending and angry. I shuffled away, not liking the eerie and steely glint in her eyes. "But I'm not interested in being easy on the eyes," she spat, "I want them to flinch, think twice before they reach out their callous hands to bruise."

    "But what do you really want?" I whispered, half afraid of the answer. She whirled around, her lips drawn in a half sad, half smile.

    "I want to be a constant reminder to men that not everything is theirs for the taking."
