"Okay!" I shrugged happily. Leaving my hometown was the hardet thing I ever had to do. Tears were in my eyes but I wouldn't let them fall. I had my ticket in my hand, a luggage in the other.

My parents stood before me in each others arms. I smile brightly. I raced up to them and gave them a tight squeeze. "I love you guys so much! I promise I'll visit as often as I can!"

I had just crossed my eighteenth birthday a few months ago and I know that I'm ready to be on my own. My parents had always struggled raising our family. I come from four siblings, me being the third, making me the second youngest.

I pulled away from my mom and dad and just looked at them, happy and sad tears being held back all at once. I had started working when I was thirteen years old and had saved up for this exact moment.

There wasn't a single day I could remember thay I didn't talk or daydream about moving to a big new city. When New Ninjago City was first built when I was around fifteen, I learned that that wad my dream city. My go-to. I couldn't wait for this moment any longer. When I would jump on that train and let the wind blow through my fingertips.

I would feel free. I would feel-

The bus was about to leave. My eyes went wide as the doors were about to close. "I am going to kick the conductor's ass when I get in there, the bus shouldn't leave for another five minutes!"

"Don't say ass,"  My dad scowled.

"Fine, I'm gonna kick the conductor's donkey."

He just laughed, which almost never happens. I smiled and raced to the train before the doors would slide shut. I squeezed in between the two sliding doors, getting my ticket in just in time.

I waved my parents goodbye and didn't stop waving until they vanished. And when they did, I turned towards the setting sun and continued my journey to my new home.
