Hello everyone out there! If you are reading this, thank you for taking the chance to read this. I'm new, but I hope that you like the story!----------------------------------------------------------------

There is another world called Rawk, where magic is illegal. If anybody was found out to use magic, they would be punishued harder than normal criminals. Many false charges against people in hope of getting rid of them is "they're a witch or wizard."

Except for the country of Wald.

In Wald, the only way you can get arrested for using magic is if the magic was used for a different criminal offense, such as cheating or stealing. In fact, magic is a job in Wald, in the form of caravans.

In caravans, any personal need can be taken care of. If you need a healer, go to the caravan that's in town and if you're lucky, there would be a healer witch or wizard in that caravan.

But there is one caravan that's special. The Caravan of Hope.

In this caravan, there are only four members, but legend has it that they can do anything, which is why spirits are lifted whenever they come into the town.

And whether anybody knows it or not, that caravan is going to change...

---------------------

It all started when Mary and George's mother died.

That day, Mary cried a lot, but unlike his twin, George didn't. They knew that their mother died of a illness, but they didn't know what.

Their mother smiled up at them and wiped the tears away from Mary's eyes. "Don't cry, I'm okay with dying," she said with a soft voice. "And don't try to use your magic to make me suddenly well or bring me back to life either. That counts you too, George."

"Phooey," Mary pouted half heartedly, because that was what see wanted to do. George chuckled.

Then their mother, closing her eyes and still smiling, died.

They buried her. Then there was the problem of what to do next. Because they only went into town once a week, they lived on the outskirts, hardly knowing anything about the outside world.

"I guess that we could go into town and decide from there," Mary concluded, for she had the brains.

And so they went. The town was called Usef, and it was a small town because everyone knew the twins. As one fact, the local inn owner said to them as they walked by him, "Oi! Mary, George! Come inside and have a drink! I haven't seen you two for a while.

And so they go in, both ordering just water, since 19 is still being too young to drink in Wald. "How's your mother?" The inn owner asked.

Mary and George paused. "She's dead" Mary said quietly.

The inn owner's eyes softened. "Oh, that explains why I haven't seen you. I'm sorry. Do you have any plans anywhere?"

George shook his head, but as he did, a man ran in and said, "HEY EVERYONE! THE CARAVAN'S HERE!"

Suddenly, everyone around them stops what they're doing and runs out the door. The only people left are the inn owner and our twins.

"Where's everyone going?"asked George.

"To the Caravan of course," the inn owner said.

"But why would people rush to a caravan? They are in business for five whole days," Mary pointed out.

The inn owner chuckled. Not a caravan, Mary. The Caravan. Hope is it's name. There are only four members: The Cold Creator, The Handsome Shadow, The Beautiful Justice, and The Unknown Powers. But legend has it they can do anything."
