As the Caravan watched, stories unfolded on the screen through clairvoyance magic.
----------------
A young Daiko was on the screen. She touched it twice from where she was. "Testing, testing, one two three!"
She backed up a little. "Let's hope this works. Okay, so some people might like to keep journals. Well, I'm going to keep a video journal, since talking flows easier with me than writing."
She smiled. "My name is Daiko Anrika. I'm an only child. I live in Zipmotin, and I'm ten years old. My daddy taught me the language of his old home: Japanese, and my mommy taught me the language of her old home: English, which is the language I'm speaking now. But sometimes, I like to speak the language of Zipmotin: Spanish."
She sighed. "I love Zipmotin, but Mommy and Daddy say that we're leaving it forever to go to Mommy's old place, Nemoja." She wrinkles her noise. "I don't even like my mommy cause she is mean! Why would I like the place she grew up in any better? I'm going to be rebellious and speak Spanish a lot. Wish me luck."
--------------------------------
"Hi journal!" She sighed. "Rebelling didn't work. We're in Nemoja now. Today was my eleventh birthday, and as a present, someone told me a website address to a Japanese manga that I might like. I don't know if they're being mean and it's terrible, but let's find out."
She took out a small device, fiddled with it, and started reading. Her eyes grew wide, and she laughed occasionally. She looked back to the screen. "This book is amazing! " She giggled. "It was so funny! And" She blushed. "Alex is cute. I wonder what type of girl he's going to marry in the future?"
She checks the device again. "Aww, there's only one chapter. But I'm going to sign up to get email notifications! Let's see... It's called The Caravan of Hope and it's by Lu Alec. Cool!"
--------------------------------
"Hi journal! Here's yet another chapter! It's chapter seven."
She reads, then out of nowhere, she says, "No, Bella!"
She looks up. "Now Bella is half blind too. If I were there, I would stop the evil dude who is controlling Jarred from even hurting her!"
----------------
"Chapter ten."
Later, she started kicking the floor. "You guys don't see him? Zaecondis the evil dude is right over there. This is why I hate dramatic irony! But I loved the Bella and Jarred love scene."
----------------
"Chapter twelve!"
Later, she had her mouth wide open. "You freakin' kissed her Hearthfell? You're not supposed to do that to girls you love until after you confess to them! If I were there, I'd stop you!"
----------------
"Chapter seventeen! "
Later, she squealed. "I probably shouldn't think this way since I'm only twelve and he's nineteen, but Alex is hot! I want to fight a battle with him one day! But that surprise attack in chapter thirteen is something I'd watch out for, since it could knock somebody out."
----------------
"Chapter twenty-four!"
Later, she cried. "Poor Alex. If I were there, I'd stop his Father."
----------------
"Chapter thirty-seven!"
Later, she screamed and started to cry. "No.... Alex is a.... BY ZAECONDIS??? Lu Alec, why? If I were there, I'd make sure it'd never happen!"
----------------
"Chapter forty-five!"
Later, she nodded her head. "Oh, so that's Zaecondis and his backstory. It makes sense. But when is Alex going to be back? And how do we defeat Zaecondis?"
----------------
Daiko was playing with her device. "I got a notification! Is it the new chapter, chapter forty- six?"
She looked at the device and started to cry. "Mi Dios... Estás bromeando, ¿verdad? No puede ser cierto. Todavía tiene que ir! Han pasado cuatro años, y me mantuve en un mundo desconocido! ¿Por qué ahora?"
She cried even more as she read out loud, "Lu Alec has died. The Caravan of Hope will not be continued anymore. We apologize for this inconvenience."
She stared up. " ¿Inconveniente? It's more than that! This is what helped me survive! I'm almost fifteen, so it's been four years and it's almost over! Why now?"
