Daiko stared up at the man. "G-go away! This is my world, not yours! You can't have it!"
The man just smiled. "Too late." He boomed. "I caught you, since you are a fugitive. And now I will issue the start of your punishment."
And this is what he said as loud as he could, as if the whole world could hear him:
"From this day forth, Rawk is the slave world of Aqua."
This didn't please Alex, as he sent a shadow to the man. And that man just smiled, pulling out an object. The man did something with the object, and the shadow screamed and went away.
Alex's eyes widened. The man continued. "Too bad for you, I read the book, so I know everything about you, Jarred, and the rest of the Caravan. Excluding the fugitive of course."
He raised a finger. "But there is more! If you give the fugitive to us, we will leave this world alone! How about it, Alexander Reginlus?"
Alex looked at Daiko, who had tears in her eyes. He had no choice, but he did have hope in the one thing that could save her.
"We agree!" He shouted, to Daiko's dismay. The man smiled, but Alex continued. "On one condition. She gets to spend four more hours with us before she goes."
"Sure! So long as you don't run away with her."
And with that, Daiko's fate was sealed.

Back in their tent, Alex grabbed Daiko's shoulders. "All right Daiko, what is going on?"
She looked away. "I'm not telling a traitor."
Then Alex did something Daiko had never seen before. He looked at her sternly and said, "Daiko..."
Daiko sighed, knowing that she couldn't evade it any longer. "Okay, I'll tell you."
She stepped into the middle of the tent and sang. A ball of multi color light appeared. "This is what Rawk looks like to other world two miles away.
She sang again, the Rawk ball turning smaller and being joined by other balls. This is what Rawk, and the worlds around it, look like to a world a thousand miles away."
She sang, and the Rawk ball disappeared entirely. "This is what Rawk looks like to the world those people are from, Aqua."
She sang again, and all those balls disappeared, and a new blue one appeared. "This is Aqua. It's home to seven billion people, none of them magicians. One day on that world, a book came out, and this is what the beginning said on that book."
She opened her book. She started to read from it:
" There is another world called Rawk, where magic is illegal. If anybody was found out to use magic, they would be punishued harder than normal criminals. Many false charges against people in hope of getting rid of them is "they're a witch or wizard."
Except for the country of Wald.
In Wald, the only way you can get arrested for using magic is if the magic was used for a different criminal offense, such as cheating or stealing. In fact, magic is a job in Wald, in the form of caravans.
In caravans, any personal need can be taken care of. If you need a healer, go to the caravan that's in town and if you're lucky, there would be a healer witch or wizard in that caravan.
But there is one caravan that's special. The Caravan of Hope.
In this caravan, there are only three members, but legend has it that they can do anything, which is why spirits are lifted whenever they come into the town.
And whether anybody knows it or not, that caravan is going to change."
Everyone in the Caravan had their eyes wide open. She closed her book and said, "Aqua is a world of beauty, war, and a super best-selling manga and light novel by Lu Alec called the Caravan of Hope. And it's the world I grew up in."
She sang once more, which made her book and the blue ball disappear and a screen appear. Daiko motioned for everyone to sir down and watch the story.

I know from reading the reviews on manga sites that some people hate long flashbacks. Sorry, I'm not one of those people. Daiko's flashback will take three chapters!
