It was a quiet day in the town of Usef. That is, until someone ran into the local bar and shouted, "EVERYONE! THE CARAVAN'S HERE!"

When everyone heard that, they all rushed out. That is, everyone except for the owner of the inn. He was frankly quite used to it.

But this time, a woman came into the inn. She ordered a glass of water.

He looked up at her and grinned. "Mary! I haven't seen you in a year!"

Mary smiled. "I know." Then, she held out her hand, palm down, and showed something that was on one of her fingers.

The inn keeper looked close and said, "You're married? Congratulations! Who's the lucky guy?"

She blushed. "Hearthfell. It was last week."

He laughed. "And to think that it has only been four years since you've joined the Caravan. It seems like yesterday sometimes."

Mary laughed with him. That's right... it has been four years.

---------------- Mary's thoughts ----------------

It's been around four years since Alex turned into Aerovislugia. And another four since I've joined the Caravan.

It's surprising how much can happen in four years.

Daiko has been walking around like nothing happened, but I can tell she's angry at Zaecondis.

And I remember what happened last year very clearly.

Hearthfell has always found a way to get me away from George these past years, but it was six months ago when he took me away quietly and knelt on one knee, proposing. I was crying with joy. When we came back, George figured out what happened, but he didn't beat up Hearthfell that time. Maybe it was because he knew that I was happy.

The wedding was last week and very private. The only people invited were the people from the Caravan. I took Hearthfell to Mom's grave and sort of introduced him. Then George came over and said that he was going to be a better son than Hearthfell. That caused the two of them to fight.

But I did look over to Daiko. She was reaching up to the sky. She does terribly miss Alex...

Oh! And I shouldn't forget about Bella and Jarred. They're engaged to each other! And George even met someone; he's going to introduce us to her if she still likes him.

Which leads me to think that Daiko, the one who seems the happiest out of all of us, is the only one of us who hasn't had a happy ending yet.

Mary thought of all this, but little did she know that it was all going to end soon.

Ten or eleven more chapters left! This book will end on New Year's Eve if I hurry up.

So I'm not doing a spoiler. But I will give you a little present: there can be another book of you want to. I'm thinking about a book that goes through Daiko's perspective on the book by Lu Alec and what Lu Alec actually wrote. What duo you guys think?

Oh, I am also starting another book. It will talk a lot about music and my love for being a Christian. It will start next year.
