Daiko was suspicious. Is he dead?
Pretty sure.
Daiko relaxed and brought out a knife. "Sorry Zae. I know how much you deserve to live."
The trio who defeated Xan came along. "Alex!" Mary said, hugging him. The two boys patted him on the back.
Zaecondis looked at them. "Go ahead Daiko."
She threw the knife at him. It stabbed into his chest.
Zaecondis fell to the ground.
But all of them could feel it; something wasn't right.
