This chapter is basically part of an epilouge. No fights, but sweet and heartfelt endings. Enjoy!

-----------------

They all saw Zaecondis on the ground. He looked up with his eyes wide open as he realized something. "No... I'm not dead yet. The cycle is going to repeat!"

Daiko looked at George. "Did you actually kill Xan, or is he still alive?"

George pumped his chest. "Doncha worry! I hit him pretty hard. He must be dead!"

"Incorrect." They all turned to Xan. He was limping, and holding his arm as though it hurt. "I cannot die unless my fake eye is taken out." He pointed to his right eye.

Alex looked at him, suspicious. "And that it's my eye, and you were only fighting under Father's orders."

Xan nodded. "Correct. And since a part of Zae is in me, he cannot die until I do." He held a hand up to his eye, as if to tear it out. And that was exactly what he was going to do before Alex stopped him.

Alex had a hint of tears in his eyes. "It's not fair. You weren't evil; why can't you just hang out with us."

"Because," Zae said with am obnoxious tone. "I can't die unless he does. And I can only escape the deal I made with the bosses if I die."

Alex kneeled down in front of Zae. "It's not fair. None of you were destined for evil. Why do you have to die?" Tears were more evidently showing this time.

Zae grinned, trying to ignore the pain, and posted his son's back. "Don't worry! I'll always be here." He pointed to Alex's chest, then paused. "Wait. That sounds like something Ambie would say."

Xan nods. "Indeed it does."

Zae shrugged and looked at Alex. "But... can you do me two favors?"

Alex nodded as Zae sighed. "Thank you. When Xan and I die, I want us to be buried next to each other. And...I want you to listen to why I call you Alexander."

He coughed. "Ale-XAN-der." Alex's eyes widened.

Xan bowed. "Thanks for the dedication, Zae."

Zae grinned. "At that time, I was missing you too much."

Alex clasped Zae's hand, feeling an overwhelming amount of emotions. He smiled. "Thank you for telling me that," he only said the next part because he knew that it'd make Zae happy. "Dad."

Despite the pain, Zae squealed. "You called me Dad! It's not the same as Daddy, but it is just as good!"

Zae looked over at Daiko, who had also kneeled down next to him. He shook her hand. "We had a lot of fun together, didn't we?"

Daiko grinned. "Yep! In fact," she blushed, knowing that she was going to say something slightly dirty. "But I'm glad I got to know you, because I got to meet Alex, and now we're probably going to have babies soon!"

Alex coughed. "... that's not going to be for a while, Daiko."

She pouted, and Zae laughed. "Yay! I'm going to be a granddaddy soon!"

Xan coughed, and Zae looked at him, nodding. "You're right. I'm ready now."

Xan held his hand up again. "Alex, I'll give you back your eye. Have Daiko fix it for you."

He ripped it out and held it out to Alex before collapsing. Zae took one last look and Alex, closing his eyes.

---------------------

Alex buried his father and his uncle next to each other. Rest in peace, he thought.

---------------------

George had went off to the side. Metatron, Ignelsa, he thought.

Metatron responded. Yes?

You knew what was going to happen with Zae?

I... just wanted him to be free. Sorry he had to die.

I just want to say... thanks for helping us out. Oh, and say hi to Ignelsa for me.

I will! Now, when's the wedding?

That's too soon! But he smiled at the thought of it.

---------------------

Alex was sleeping. Daiko did fix his eye, and for the first time since he was young, he finally had an eye.

Maybe it was just his imagination, but he could feel his dad and uncle ever since he got his eye back.

He wasn't going to tell anyone about that; it was a secret he'll keep. Well, maybe Daiko would know.

But he thought about what happens now. He got his eye back, a satisfying ending. What happens next?
