Tw: getting left out and badly written romance.
Don't start the song yet it's for the story.
Logan's POV
The others had been avoiding Logan all day. He hadn't seen Roman or Virgil since that morning and he had only seen Patton in passing as he grabbed colorful paper and food. He didn't necessarily mind it, the peace and quiet was refreshing. He just feel that they were avoiding him. 'What if they're planning to prank me? What if Virgil has somehow found out who I have a crush on. I mean it probably isn't that hard to tell. It's hard to keep anything from him. He notices almost everything so he has surely noticed the slight coloration that permeates my cheeks whenever the flamboyant young man was around.'
"Come on Logan, get a hold of yourself you're starting to sound like Virgil, stressing over every little thing." Logan muttered to himself as he turned back to his book. 'I wonder what they're doing in there? I better go check on them. It's almost lights out anyways.'
Logan got up and knocked on Virgil's door, hearing a hurried 'coming' before much shuffling of papers could be heard. The door opened to reveal Roman, leaning against the closet, where a couple of papers peeked out from underneath the door, Patton, sitting on his bed, reorganizing his stuffed animals, and Virgil, spread across the floor, doodling on his arm with a large purple marker.
"Salutations, I was wondering what had all of you cooped up in here the whole day?"
"Nothing much, just us hanging around, talking." Roman figited in his place by the closet.
"If it was just 'hanging around' why was I not invited? I am part of this configuration of friends, am I not?"
"Well kiddo, we just didn't think that you would enjoy this type of thing." Patton chimed in.
"Yea, we're talking about icky emotion stuff, nothing that you like to talk about." Virgil reassured.
"Well...if you truly believe that I would not have enjoyed being included in the conversation then I can see why you did not feel the need to inform me."
"We can tell you if you want us to, we just didn't want you to feel like you were being rude if you didn't want to join into our conversation." Patton looked extremely guilty.
"It is about time for bed, Roman are you coming?"
"Just give me a minute I'm gonna help Patton clean up." Roman started picking up a couple of the stray papers from the floor.
"I'm here too." Virgil said from his place on the floor.
"But are you gonna help?" Roman stopped for a second to question him.
Logan left the boys to their squabbling and returned to his room.
----------Time skip brought to you by Patton's cat onesie---------
It had been about a week and other than some suspicious behavior from the others everything was back to normal. Logan was reading in his room when something hit the cover of his book.
"What?" Logan didn't even look up from his book expecting an answer from his assailant. When none came he looked upto find the room empty excluding himself. "That's strange." Logan picked up the waded up piece of red paper that had been thrown at him. When he unwrinkled the paper he found a set of couplets.
