LOGAN'S POV
As soon as Logan was sure that Virgil was properly taking care of Patton he got Dr.Pancini. He came back to see that Roman was beginning to inch away towards the door. Dr.Pancini was still standing by the door and stopped Roman sending him back into the room.
"Virgil will probably want to talk with both of you"
Logan knew that his dark friend saw himself as sort of like the 'welcome person', Making sure that the new kids knew the rules and making sure they knew when they had broken those rules. He often had protected the more fragile kids when they first arrived.
Virgil was a odd young man. He had anxiety but was fine, having minimal amounts of excess anxiety... when he was at the institute. That was the problem. Outside he was a wreck. Constant anxiety attacks, debilitating fear and overthinking every little thing. Logan's hypothesis was that Virgil saw the institute as a place of calm were, yes people came and went, often thru the mirrors, but there were always constants such as himself and Pancini. What was it like in the mirror world? A comman theory was that the people who went through died, but then why did the mirrors chose different people at different times. Virgil had his own theory but-
Just then Virgil came back in, fuming.
"What the heck were you to thinking? He has major aracniphobia! You gave him a freaking panic attack!" Virgil yelled.Logan saw that Virgil's breathing was becoming irregular.
"Virgil calm down you're giving yourself a panic attack" Logan said reaching towards his anxious friend.
"No!" Virgil stated jumping away from Logan's outstretched hand "I'm mad at you to for going along with princy's plan."
Logan drew back, feeling a tinge sadness from his friend's rejection but understanding all the same. He had been an instrumental part of Roman's prank. Pancini sent Virgil away knowing that the stress of the situation would be too much forVirgil to handle. He was probably going to the jym. Doing karate let him feel more in control and that calmed him down. He then realised that Roman was trying to get his attention.
"Earth to Logan" Roman waved his hand in front of Logan's face.
Logan chose to ignore his annoying peer instead choosing to make his way to his room where he saw Patton sleeping peacefully in Virgil's bed. He picked up the book on quantum mechanics resting on his bedside table and started reading, opting out of his bed in favor of a chair that had been resting in the corner.
ROMAN'S POV
Roman retreted away from Virgil and Patton after giving them the therapy blanket. He stood awkwardly in the middle of the room as Logan left. Maybe I could leave. I'm not needed here anyways. I'll just mess everything up again. I try to help and end up messing everything up. Do you think Virgil knows that this is all my fault? Who an I kidding, of course he knows. With the look that he gave me how it's impossible that he doesn't know. Sheesh I try to fit in, play a harmless prank, but it sends the kid into a panic. I'm such a screw-up.
Roman didn't realize he was inching towards the door until Pancini stopped him.
"Virgil will probably want to talk with both of you"
What is all that about? Roman waited nervously until Virgil came back into the room. He was fuming.
"What the heck were you to thinking? He has major aracniphobia! You gave him a freaking panic attack!" Virgil yelled. What's aracniphobia? Roman decided to ask Logan later.
