Crystal's POV

I woke up to find myself in the same black room I had found myself in this morning. I looked around, not surprised when I saw nothing but darkness. As I looked down, I saw a small ring of light surrounding me. 'Well, I can see, so that's a plus. Okay, if this is truly the same place, then that means there should be a screen thing nearby.' I thought to myself. As I began my search for the screen, I started hearing voices coming from the darkness. I started walking faster.

After a while, I finally reached the strange screen. "What have you got in store for me today magic screen," I asked out loud, not expecting a response.

"Oh I have so much planned for you." said a voice from the darkness. I turned around, surprised and scared by the response.

"Who are you?" I asked the voice. Then I saw glowing yellow eyes from the darkness. I froze, unsure what to do.

"You can call me whatever you want. It doesn't really matter," it said. The yellow eyes stared into my very soul at this comment. All of a sudden, the white screen started glowing brighter. "Have fun," it said, followed by sadistic laughter. I was then forcefully pulled into the screen.

As I took a look at my surroundings. I was in the bedroom of what seemed to be a child. The room had a lingering smell of cinnamon and was for the most part clean. The walls and ceiling were a deep navy with multicolored stars decorating the ceiling and the floor was a pale yellow carpet. There was a small bookshelf at the foot of a small bed with a blanket decorated with stars, spaceships, and aliens. A single stuffed animal laid on on the bed. It was a small, grey cat with blue eyes and a pink bandana around its neck. That was when I realized that this was my room. I then heard a small sniffling noise coming from the closet. I went to open it to see a small six-year-old girl huddled in a ball, crying. As I reached out to touch her, the door opened and Quin walked in. He then walked over to the closet and opened the door and kneeled down.

"Crissy, are you okay?" he asked in a quiet, soothing voice. The little girl looked up at him, fat tears rolling down her cheeks.

"N-N-No. Some kids at the park made fun of me. The called me a monster." younger me said. Quin then pulled me into his arms and started rocking me back in fourth.

"Don't let those kids' words get to you. I bet they're just jealous," he said.

"Jealous?" I questioned, looking up.

"Of course," he said, smiling. "You're the only person I have ever seen with your kind of eyes." he let out a small laugh. "Personally, I'm kinda jealous." This calmed down younger me. Pretty soon, we were running around, playing with tiny spaceships. I smiled fondly at the memory. The room started spinning, and pretty soon, I was a new location.

I was on a bridge overlooking a canyon with a rushing river below it. My heart sunk at the sight of the location. I then saw myself wearing the bandana Quin had given me. Quin himself was walking with me and we were deep in a conversation. I tried to run over to them, but I was rooted in place. I tried to yell out, but my voice was muted. I could do nothing but watch. As expected, the bullies came and threw my bandana around, but the worst was yet to come. Quin caught the bandana as it went over the edge, but the support cracked and broke. Tears were flowing down my cheek, as I could do nothing. I watch as my younger self hang onto the other end. I watched as I tried to pull him up. And I watched as he let go and plummeted to his death. The scene swirled and I went somewhere else.

Lance's POV

We were all gathered on the bridge, comforting Allura after the loss of her father a second time. That's when I noticed that Crystal was nowhere to be seen.
