Felix sighed, placing his bags down in what was once his old room. He was bound to miss Sydney; having made plenty of memories there. He wasn't devastated to have left - after all, he's back in Korea - and he did love Seoul. He ran a small hand through his freshly-dyed blond hair before looking around, both of his hands naturally finding a place on his hips as he inspected his room; his soft cheeks puffed.

There wasn't much he wanted to change — he was fine with the light grey colour of the walls, and the room itself was rather spacious. Yet, only the minimal details had probably stayed the same; Felix having developed a whole new fashion sense and hobbies back in Australia.
Carelessly, he flopped down on his double bed before groaning, the realisation of having to unpack practically everything hitting him.

That was Felix's least favourite part; as it would be for everyone else. Yet, he almost hated it -- knowing his mother, despite her loving nature (which Felix adored) would pester him to unpack everything neatly, even if it requires hours to do. Just as his mind was lost in the endless amount of unpacking he was yet to do, his mother had called for him from downstairs; bringing Felix back to reality. He quickly got up and adjusted his oversized lilac hoodie before heading downstairs to where his mother was.

"Yongbok-ah," she called, causing Felix to scowl. He really preferred to be called Felix; Yongbok feeling too formal. Quickly dismissing it, though, he acknowledged her with a quiet hum. "Now... because we have mountains of things to unpack," she began with, which Felix mentally agreed with; yet he aired on the edge of caution due to the tone of her voice — it was almost as if she, too, was being cautious with her words.

"Your aunt Jia and Minho offered to help us!" she exclaimed, grinning widely as she did. Felix could only blink, stuttering on his words; yet before he could gather them together, his mother cut him off. "Isn't that so nice of them? We haven't seen them in years! I'm sure you and Minho have a lot to talk about! Cousin-y things, and as such! It's a wonderful opportunity, isn't it?"

If Felix could express a deeper look of disbelief, he surely would. This was not how he expected his first day back in Korea to go. Far from it. He shook his head rapidly, finally finding his words: "No! No, it's not! We can unpack all of this ourselves! Minho doesn't need to come! Why not just Aunt Jia? Or why don't I just do it alone? Please!" Felix had never thought in his entire 17 years of living that he'd willingly offer to clean; but, hey. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

His mother, not surprised at Felix's reaction, clicked her tongue at her undeniably-dramatic son. "Too late to cancel. They'll be here in 20 minutes. And, as if you'd willingly clean up, Yongbok-ah." She snorted at the last bit, knowing her little boy all too well.

"But... but I'll do anything!" Felix truly tried his best to plea with his mother; even as she exited the living room to the kitchen, aiming to prepare some drinks before her sister and nephew arrived, ignoring her son's antics.

Felix groaned, audibly, as he fell face-first onto the sofa. 'God, he'll be on my case 24/7, now. Here, at school, everywhere!' thought Felix. After a few more moments of sulking, Felix pulled out his phone from the back pocket of his black ripped jeans to check the time. 10 minutes. 10 minutes and he'll be here. Felix didn't have it out for Minho, or anything. He didn't despise the elder; he just simply wished the elder wouldn't tease him all the time.

He huffed (for what was probably the thirtieth time in the past 10 minutes) before looking in the reflection of the screen of his phone. Felix's lips, although usually plump, were a little dry this time round. The area under his eyes were a little dark, and his hair was surely more of a mess than it was when he arrived. 'Great. I look so ready for life,' he thought to himself.

"Crikey, Felix-ah, smile!" his mother stated as she walked into the room, placing a tray of drinks on the small, circular coffee table. "You look like you just woke up!" She chuckled, finding hints of amusement in teasing her son. Having an undeniable soft spot for his mother,

Felix rolled his eyes playfully before sitting up straight. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"In all serious, sweetheart. It'll be fine. Jia's told me that Minho has become so mature now! And that he's at the top in all of his classes!" exclaimed Felix's mother, trying to lighten the mood. He nodded in acknowledgment, yet, he refrained himself from commenting on the odds of the older boy having matured; doubting it to a far extent.

As soon as his mother was about to continue, the soft 'ding' of the doorbell rang; causing her to excitedly spring to her feet before heading to the door, a happy gasp escaping her lips. Felix lightly groaned, standing up and walking towards the front door with his back hunched.

He looked at the sight in front of him: his mother and his aunt Jia hugging each other tightly, exchanging squeals and choruses of "Oh my goodnesses!" Felix wouldn't lie; deep down this had made him happy - frankly, anything that made his mother happy, made him happy - but not cleaning.

He was quickly brought back to reality as he was almost tackled to the floor by his aunt, who engulfed him in a tight hug. "Felix-ah! Oh, my! Look at you, all grown up! Your hair, too!" exclaimed Jia, clearly just as excited as Felix's mother.

Felix chuckled lightly at her reaction before pulling back from their hug; needing air to breathe. "Hi, aunt Jia", he greeted in return, with a soft smile spreading across his chubby-ish cheeks. Jia pinched Felix's cheek before looking back at her sister, then the door, clicking her tongue as she did.

"Minho! Come on!" On hearing the name of his least favourite cousin, Felix's eyes drifted to the door. And in he came, a casual walk; or a stupid attempt-to-look-cool walk, as Felix thought. A smile plastered on Minho's face as he greeted Felix's mother; yet it was more of a stupid smirk to Felix. His cousin's signature stupid smirk.

Before he knew it, Felix's tunnel vision was focused on a plain, black t-shirt. Furrowing his eyebrows in confusion, Felix quickly looked up; only to make eye contact with Minho's glistening eyes of mischief. "Hey, Felix," greeted Minho in a tone that he knew only Felix would pick up; causing him to smirk at seeing the younger tense, evidently trying to refrain himself from creating a scene in that moment.

It was successful for Felix, thankfully. He replied back with nothing but a simple "Hi," not wanting the older boy to know how easy it is for him to get under Felix's skin.

"Boys!" called Felix's mother; causing the two boys to break eye contact and look over. "Why don't you start upstairs, and me and Jia can tackle downstairs? You can also catch up, too."

Although this was a question; both boys were smart enough to tell it was rhetorical. Felix nodded, making his way up the stairs as Minho followed. "So, Yongbokkie" - this caused Felix to release a quiet sigh, as he braced himself for the long night ahead.
