It had been three days since the boys came back from the camping trip, and its outcomes seemed to variate.

For Hyunjin, it had been more successful. He got closer to Changbin in those days, which didn't go unnoticed by the rest of them; yet Felix and Chan were back to where they started, as if that night never even happened. Yet, although they did not speak of it, Jeongin still pondered on what to do.

"Hey, Lix hyung!" he said as he swung his arm around Felix's shoulders, sending him a small, soft smile.

"Hey, Innie" he got in response, alongside Felix affectionately ruffling his hair. "So... um," said Jeongin, trying to tread lightly. "The camping trip was fun, wasn't it?" he asked. A few moments of silence passed before  Felix responded this time.

"Yeah, it was alright. Minus Jisung's complaining and all the bugs," he joked, calmly. "

"Uh-huh..." said Jeongin, psychoanalysing the older boy's response in his mind. However, Jeongin's thoughts were soon cut short.

"What's got you thinking so deep?" joked Chan, chuckling after on noticing how the youngest quickly brought himself back to reality.

"Nothing," he said, trying to sound somewhat normal, watching at how Chan's arm found itself securely wrapped around Felix's small waist, and how Felix wasted no time in leaning comfortably into the older Aussie.

"I was just about to ask him that," Felix said, grinning after.

"Sure there's nothing bothering you, Jeonginnie?" asked Chan reassuringly.

In response, Jeongin offered them a mere small smile before answering that all was good, and announcing he would leave to find Seungmin.

As his view of Jeongin soon disappeared, Felix turned immediately to face Chan. For a moment, no words were exchanged between the two. The silence was calm, but it was strong. Everything felt uncertain in that moment, until Chan felt Felix's fingers gently running through his slightly messy blond hair. "Silly," mumbled Felix, softly. "Your hair is in all sorts of directions," he mumbled, attention clearly focused on Chan's fluffy hair.

"Yeah," was all the older Aussie said, clearly too focused on the boy in front of him to acknowledge the world around him. Felix's eyeshadow was subtle; its colour matched his complexion yet it shimmered under the lights of the school. His lipgloss made his lips look ever so plump- so kissable-

"Chan?" Felix said, tone slightly loud. How long did Chan lose focus for?

"Yeah?" he answered, blinking fast a couple of times.

"The bell rang. C'mon, let's head to class." Both boys gently took ahold of each other's hand and soon made their way to class. It's gonna feel like a long day, Chan thought.

(time skip).

By lunch, Chan and Felix entered the noisy cafeteria together, once more hand in hand. Once they got their lunch, Chan was about to speak to the younger blond, hoping to ask if it could just be the two of them for lunch, yet a clear voice spoke up before he had the chance.

"Chan hyung! Lix hyung! Come sit with us!" proposed Jeongin, making sure to send both Aussies a wide smile. Not having the guts to say no to such a precious maknae, Chan admitted defeat and trailed along to the table that seated all the boys from the trip except Chan and Felix, who then sat down.

"My God, Jisung! Shut up!" whined Hyunjin before continuing. "Binnie doesn't need to know what we talked about when you slept over!" he hissed, causing Changbin to raise his eyebrows in curiosity as Jisung giggled behind his hand, leaning into Minho's embrace.

"You can't hurt me, Hyunjin! My knight in shining armour, aka my dearest Minho will protect me!" declared Jisung, a bit too enthusiastically before he giggled once more.

Drowning out the noises of the other boys as he ate, Felix couldn't help but divert his gaze to Jisung and Minho more than a few times. They seemed so happy. So good with where they were in their relationship, wherever that was. Why can't I just have that with Chan- Felix said to himself. Yet he stopped himself before he thought any further. He wouldn't want that with Chan. He doesn't care about that stuff. He just needs to fake it with Chan and that should suffice.

So he huffed lowly to himself, swallowing whatever he had left in his mouth before downing his chocolate milk then planting a massive kiss on Chan's cheek, much to the surprise of everyone except Felix himself. They all paused to look at the two Aussies, everyone except Jeongin displaying slight expressions of shock.

"What?" Felix questioned. "I just wanna show my boyfriend some affection," he said, mumbling towards the end. Chan's cheeks were tinted pink, he was even probably the most surprised out of the others, if any of them
were that attentive. However, Chan chuckled softly before mimicking Felix's haste action, yet he slowed it down.

In that moment, Felix realised how soft Chan's lips really were. He couldn't help himself but gently cupping one of the older Aussie's cheeks as Chan slowly pulled back, only to lean in and attach their lips together, in the same, slow way as Chan did just before. Funnily enough, Felix enjoyed having Chan's lips on his. It felt right. He was dazed by the feeling, as was Chan. Their kiss lasted what felt like moments longer, with Chan's hand finding its way to rest on one of Felix's hips as their lips moved in sync.

Eventually, they pulled apart. Breathless. By now, both of their cheeks were tinted pink, and the silence around them felt welcoming, it felt new. They both just simply smiled at each other. However, their soft moment was over as a chorus of teasing coos soon began. "Hey!" Chan said at the few boys that teased them, chuckling after. Once laughter had died down and the boys began to eat again, Chan's arm once more found its way around Felix's waist, allowing the younger blond to lean into him.

Some of the boys continued to eat, whereas others engaged in conversation as they did. Felix and Chan were perhaps too comfortable to notice two pairs of eyes lingering on them for moments longer. That was until, those two pairs of eyes were no longer on the Aussies but met, themselves. "Do you see what I mean?" whispered Jeongin.

"Yeah," whispered Seungmin in response, sending a quick glance over at the Aussies. "I noticed."
