Quick A/N: I've decided that there will be femme Felix, it's something I personally like as I believe anyone should wear what they want and that clothes don't have to be assigned to gender; it's a form of canalisation. I'm sorry if you're not into femme male characters.
Chan and Felix genuinely talked for hours on weekends — and weekdays. Yet they decided that in order to seem more believable as a couple, they should spend more time together (if possible). It was currently a Saturday, around 11:30am; and Felix was on FaceTime with Jisung.
Jisung's face was evident with disgust. "Ya! You can't wear that!"
This caused Felix to huff for the umpteenth time. "Then what can I wear, you diva?" he asked.
Jisung rolled his eyes dramatically at the lack of fashion sense of his best friend. "What would you do without me?"
Felix gave Jisung a look of disbelief before laughing lightly. "Yeah, yeah. Now help me choose my outfit!" he said; voice laced with despair.
Jisung hummed before speaking; Felix watching him expectantly. "Well, it's your first time out as a couple?" he enquired. Felix nodded. Jisung then grinned brightly. "You have to look outstanding! Wear something cute, but sexy — but also adorable! And sophisticated—" Felix's eyes widened at the rambling of his best friend; never failing to be amused or shocked by it.
"Jisung!" he said. The older boy immediately stopped talking, a little grin taking place on his face.
"Sorry. I'm just so excited for my best friend, ahhh!" exclaimed the older boy; squealing at the end in a way of expressing his excitement, alongside falling back on his bed with one arm in the air. Felix grinned at this; Jisung never failing to make him smile.
"Hey, princess," said Felix, jokingly. "Help me find an outfit." Jisung rolled his eyes - playfully yet dramatically - and soon enough, they had gone ahead with a decision and ended the call; leaving Felix to get ready. Throughout dressing, nervousness eddied in Felix's stomach. He didn't know why he was nervous - he was just hanging out with Chan - something of which he has done countless times.
After putting on his clothes, Felix looked at himself in the full-length mirror that was placed by his wardrobe. He wore a baby blue skirt that was not tight -- but fit perfectly around the waist; showing its small size. Alongside this, he wore a plain black cropped t-shirt, black knee-high socks and knee-high boots to match. He took a deep breath before fumbling with the end of his skirt. He mumbled to himself. "It's a fake date, Felix. Fake."
Moments later, Felix was sat at his desk. There was a mirror on the wall, so the desk served multipurpose as a dressing table, too. He applied his makeup; making sure not to cover his freckles (as per Chan's sole request) and soon enough, he was face to face with none other than Chan.
Chan was mesmerised, to say the least. Even if they were only friends, he thought Felix was beautiful. Beyond that, even. Chan, himself, wore a plain black t-shirt and ripped, light-blue skinny jeans with sneakers. Despite the simplicity of both of their outfits; both Chan and Felix were in a trance-like state upon seeing each other. For the first time, only for a moment, they truly saw each other.
"You look... Really nice," said Chan; almost as if he were breathless. Felix grinned as a shade of light pink tinted his cheeks.
"So do you," he said in response.
"Shall... shall we go?" Asked Chan as he signalled to his car.
Felix nodded before laughing lightly. "Yeah, let's do this."
They had stopped at a café for brunch - since it was nearing lunch time. They filled their plates and laughed throughout the whole time, it was definitely a great morning. After eating, there was much debate on who'd pay the bill. Eventually both boys came to the agreement of going 50/50 - much to the dismay of Chan; yet to the success of Felix.
20 minutes later, they had arrived at an arcade. On seeing the luminous lights of the building, and hearing the various game noises and music (that were in most cases cacophonous) Felix smiled brightly; he was overjoyed. "Oh, my god! We haven't been here in like, a week! That's absolutely ages!" he said, evidently excited.
Chan laughed heartedly before nodding. "I knew you'd wanna come here, so what're you waiting for? Let's go!" he said in response; his tone reciprocating the joyous energy of the younger blond.
For a moment, Felix smiled softly at the older boy. Chan was generous: his generosity one of the qualities Felix had almost immediately noticed in the older boy the first time they met. They then proceeded to head in, and spent the afternoon having the time of their lives. Both boys were absolutely ecstatic, enjoying their time in the arcade.
At one point, Felix lost to Chan in a game - and pouted so cutely. The older boy cooed at this; causing the younger to roll his eyes playfully - the pout still evident on his face. Much to Felix's obliviousness, Chan had snook a photo of the younger boy pouting. Soon they decided to snack on whatever the little restaurant at the arcade offered. Both boys ended up getting slush puppies - Chan with blue and Felix with red. After tasting their drinks, they began to engage in conversation.
Yet, half way through, Felix could not contain his laughter at the older boy's now-blue tongue. The same went for Chan, who quickly caught on as to what made Felix hysterical, and began laughing at the bright-redness that was stained on Felix's own tongue. The two boys laughed for another moment before Felix got his phone out; then proceeding for both boys to take numerous selfies - funny ones, cute ones, all sorts.
Soon the evening had come. Chan and Felix stood outside of Felix's house - slightly awkward as to what usually happens at this point; as shown in movies. "Um... today was lovely, Chan. Thank you," said Felix; his voice nothing short of gratefulness as he smiled at the older blond. Chan grinned in return.
"My pleasure, Lix." Both boys had glints in their eyes, smiling brightly at each other.
This lasted for a short moment; yet felt like ages. "Goodnight, Chan," said Felix - almost sad that the older boy was leaving.
"Goodnight, Lix," he said; proceeding to momentarily hug the younger boy.
"Text me when you're home," said Felix. Chan nodded before smiling at him one last time that night.
"I will." Later, both boys laid in their own beds, indulging in contentment. Maybe fake-dating won't be as hard as it seems. They're good friends, after all.
