"Hm, yeah. I'm almost ready I just gotta pick what shoes to wear," said Felix, as he carefully scanned his not so small shoe collection whilst on the phone to Seungmin.
"Yeah, okay. Just hurry up. I need your help with this," he said.
"Ah hah!" Felix cheered, unknowingly causing the red haired boy on the other line to jump at the sudden noise. "Got them," he said, giggling.
Sending him a huff, Seungmin ended the call with a "Fine. I'll be at yours in five."
————————————————————————
"Thank you again for helping me with this," said Jeongin as he got into Chan's car.
"No worries," the older boy replied, sending the younger a bright smile, starting to drive. "I just... I don't know what to do! Usually I'm good at this stuff but, y'know," Jeongin said before pausing, sighing longingly as he then continued. "Maybe I hit a slump this time?" he questioned.
"Hey, it's fine. We'll think of the best idea ever," said Chan.
————————————————————————
"God, it really took you 20 minutes to find a pair of shoes that match?" Seungmin asked, in clear disbelief.
"Yes," Felix answered, pointedly. "If your outfit doesn't work then does your brain?" he asked the red haired boy, raising an eyebrow and sassily placing a hand on his hip as he did.
"Just sit down, Lix. We're brainstorming my 1 year anniversary with Innie, not planning 10 weddings," Seungmin said, shaking his head as they both sat down; tucking their chairs in.
————————————————————————
"So did you have anything in mind?" Chan asked, quickly pulling a seat out for Jeongin who muttered a quiet 'thank you' before the older sat down, himself. Initially, he received a pout.
"No, hyung. It's our 1 year and it must be special. Like, really special." Sending the younger boy a nod in understanding, Chan hummed before speaking.
"Well, the first idea that comes to my mind is that this food smells delicious and the place looks really good. So how about we order then think? We can think while we wait for our food, too," he suggested, playfully.
"Sure," he received from Jeongin, alongside a joking roll of the eyes.
————————————————————————
"So," Seungmin said, resting his chin on his hands, elbows on the table. "You got anything in mind?" he asked, scanning Felix's expression. The blond quickly signalled he'd be one quick second to answer as he took what was definitely longer than a one second sip of his milkshake.
"Sorry," Felix soon answered, sending Seungmin a toothy grin. "To answer your question: yes," he added, watching how the other boy perched up in his seat; back straightening. "You make a statute of Innie. Out of roses!" All Seungmin could do was blink in response.
"Lix, I literally can't even draw a stick man."
————————————————————————
"Hm," said Chan, presenting a noise of confirmation that the food was indeed delicious. "About your anniversary," he said once he had finished chewing, "Why not... Take him to where you first met?" he asked Jeongin, only to receive a straight face from the younger.
"Hyung," he said, going to answer Chan's question, yet sighing first. "That would be school. I am not spending my 1 year anniversary in school." Jeongin then picked at his food for not much longer before slowly looking up at Chan, expression unreadable. "Hyung, wait..." he said, earning Chan's undivided attention, who stopped chewing to look at the younger boy. "What about yours and Felix hyung's 1 month anniversary?"
————————————————————————
"O-oh..." said Felix, blinking a few times as he drew away from his milkshake. "Well... I haven't thought about it yet..." he said, mumbling; clearly taken aback by Seungmin's sudden question.
"Really?" the other boy asked, with a slightly shocked expression. "It's your 1 month anniversary, Lix. You gotta do something to celebrate," Seungmin said, tilting his head to the side slightly.
"Never mind that. We'll think about me and Channie later! Let's focus on your 1 year with Innie - which is gonna require a much bigger celebration than mine, anyway," Felix answered, avoiding eye contact.
————————————————————————
"Funny story..." Chan said, laughing airily after. "You see, Innie," he said before pausing again, unconsciously licking his lips before he spoke. "I haven't got round to thinking about what I wanna do for Lix on our 1 month anniversary," he said, leaning back in his seat.
"Why?" Jeongin asked, eyebrows furrowed.
"We've been spending so much time together it feels like we've been together longer than that... In a good way, of course," Chan explained.
"Hm..." Jeongin said, before nodding and taking a rather big bite of his food.
————————————————————————
"You didn't need to pay," Felix said, as he and Seungmin headed out of the small, corner-situated café.
The red haired boy shrugged. "No biggie," he answered. "Thanks for helping me think of some ideas for mine and Innie's anniversary," he said, glancing at Felix as they walked down the street.
"It's okay," Felix responded. "Why did you ask me? Just out of curiosity," he questioned, grinning after.
He listened as Seungmin let out a little laugh before speaking. "'Cos you're the most creative one, Lix," he said, continuing to direct the younger as to their next location.
————————————————————————
"The food was great," exclaimed Chan, yet he stuttered on his next words as confusion filled his face; "Why are Felix and Seung here?" he asked. As Jeongin turned around, he waved at both boys before quickly grabbing two more seats to their table.
"Oh- Chan?" Felix questioned, quickly looking at Seungmin who did nothing but usher the younger blond to sit down next to his boyfriend, directly across Seungmin and his own.
"I don't get it... we just had lunch so why are we all meeting in a restaurant?" Chan asked, glancing at Felix who was equally confused before both of the blond Aussies looked at the couple seated opposite them.
However, Seungmin and Jeongin's expressions opposed Chan and Felix's own. They wore blank faces. "Um..." Felix mumbled, starting to feel awkward.
On hearing this, Jeongin sighed. For what felt like a very long moment, he held eye contact with Seungmin before they both looked directly at Chan and Felix.
"We know what you're up to."
