Chan put his head down as the music through his headset blared into his ears. He let everything, his thoughts and his feelings, drown away as the music blurred into the foreground. His feelings and emotions had finally went away, that's what he thought. Deep in the back of his mind; is where the constant thought of Felix sat. He couldn't comprehend his feelings and emotions, but little did he know, this distance that he thought was good; was what was killing him deep down. He could feel it in his heart, Felix was the one for him.

Felix lay on his bed, the soft cotton sheets dragging him in. He had been affected by this as well, Chan was the only constant thought in his mind.

Chan had been avoiding him. That was no doubt; and he had been avoiding Chan. He still felt awkward about the event but that didn't keep him from constantly thinking about Chan.
From the way his hair sparkled in the light, to his soft; air tight curls, by the way he smiles; and his little perfect dimples, not to mention his deep voice and perfect lips; or his slight freckles that spread across his face like stardust. Felix knew he loved Chan, that was no doubt whatsoever- but with how things were at this moment; it was so hard to see how Chan felt.
Little did they know, they both felt the same.

Chan felt his curls bounce as he walked down the sidewalk; on his way to his favourite coffee shop. A hot, nice, cup of coffee with the perfect, chewy, warm to the core chocolate chip cookie always seemed to make him feel better when he was in a mood like this.
He plopped himself down onto a hardwood chair, the chair underneath him feeling a bit more comfortable by the aid of a cushion. He got comfortable in his seat, and waited for a waiter to take his order. He could hear the pitter patter of rain start, which luckily for him; he had brought a umbrella of his own.
"One medium cup of black coffee please, and a chocolate chip cookie." He smiled up to the waiter, who in return, smiled back and took his order.
Chan had never been good at waiting, but luckily for him; this order came back within minutes. He sipped on his coffee, and looked out the window. He never noticed how serene rain is; until now. It was so calming. It made him think of, Felix. He took a bite out of his cookie.
The distance is killing him.

Felix walked out to his living room, in which he switched on a channel on his tv. It was some cartoon of sorts, which made him think back to when he was a kid.
Life was so much easier.
He didn't have to worry about love lives, about significant others, or about his damned cousin. He hated admitting this, but deep down he held some affection for his cousin. Minho wasn't always like this, he was a nice kid. Not so much anymore.
He quickly snapped out of his thoughts by the game cabinet.
He remembered the games scattered across the floor; the laughs and giggles, and the warm hug. His warm hug. His musky cologne. His warmth.
He needed to break this distance.

The distance was killing them.
