The bell rang for lunch; Felix's favourite part of the school day. Excitedly, his new friend Jisung (who Felix sparked a friendship with by telling the older boy that he liked the doodles he caught the older drawing) and himself made their way to the cafeteria. They were chatting among themselves, getting to know each other then both proceeding to squeal excitedly at the fact that they were only born a day apart.

"Dude! That's so cool, but, I'm like totally older than you. So I'm wiser," exclaimed Jisung. Felix blinked at this, thinking about the squirrel-like boy's words.

"We... we're only a day apart, though... I'm not gonna call you hyung!" Felix responded with; playfulness evident in his tone as he ran towards the table where he saw his other new friends from other lessons.

He befriended Seungmin in maths; completely bewildered at the knowledge the bright red haired boy had. From there he was introduced to Jeongin during his break, who noticeably stood quite close to Seungmin; practically clinging onto him as if his life depended on it -- nevertheless, it was adorable.

Yet his bright smile had welcomed Felix; who, too, was happy to meet the brunette-haired boy. In his third lesson, he met Hyunjin. Yet, Felix being Felix, aka the embodiment of gay panic, had stuttered upon introducing himself to the beautiful black-haired boy that was seated next to him. Hyunjin was amused, to say the least; and so the two spent the whole hour of geography becoming acquainted with one- another.

After they got their lunch, they sat at their table. Jeongin and Jisung immediately began a lively debate over who was the best-looking member of 'Ateez'. "It's San! I'm telling you, it's San! Gosh, Jisung! You're so in denial!" It was in that moment that Felix felt settled in, noticing that his new friends were quite similar to himself; rather 'energetic', as he like to put it (yet his mother would propose the correct word would be 'dramatic').

"You're a baby, what do you know, beanhead! It's obviously Mingi," the older boy spat back, rolling his eyes a bit too hard.

Seungmin looked at Felix apologetically, before placing his sandwich down and looking at the freckled boy. "Yes. They're like this most of the time."

Felix grinned lightly. "It's alright. I don't mind it." Seungmin smiled in return before going back to his lunch. Hyunjin chuckled lightly before looking at the blond haired boy.

"Oh, Felix. I hope you don't mind my friend joining us, usually he's recording songs or whatever in the music department but his other friend, Changbin, is off sick so... Yeah. He's nice, I promise. Weird but nice." The last part caused Felix to release a small, yet light-hearted laugh.

When he'd go home and tell his mother about all the new friends he made, she'd surely be so excited: like a kid on a sugar-rush. "Yeah, that's fine. Couldn't be bad," he responded with, before taking a bite of his lunch.

"Look! Here he is now."

Felix turned towards the entrance of the cafeteria, not being able to believe his luck as he laid eyes on the tall, light-blond haired boy. "Chan!," he exclaimed, evidently excited. The addressed boy had stopped in his tracks, releasing a small laugh of disbelief that the ever so cute Aussie from earlier would be sat with his friends.

He regained himself quickly, heading over and sitting with the boys; next to Felix, across from Hyunjin. "Hey! Sorry I couldn't initially hang out with you at lunch, since I'm meant to show you around, n' all," said Chan, rubbing his nape awkwardly; feeling a small tinge of guilt.

Felix quickly responded; a bunch of incoherent words making their way out of his mouth at once before he could answer with a "It's alright. You're here now," and a small tint of pinky-hue dusted across his freckled cheeks.

Chan grinned at the younger boy's response, before eating a cookie that Jeongin had passed to him. "Good, good. I was hoping to finish writing a new song with Changbin but he's 'not feeling well'," announced the older boy before taking a bite of the soft, chocolate chip cookie.

"Ah," Hyunjin nodded in understanding, "so basically he was up playing Mario Kart till like, 4am." The others snorted; all nodding in agreement before mumbling momentarily about the childish antics of the addressed boy. Yet, Felix pouted slightly at the thought of Mario Kart.

Each time he played it with Minho as kids, the older didn't hesitate to point out how bad Felix was; or how, in Minho's own words, Felix 'sucked' at it. He huffed quietly to himself; the thought of his irritating cousin interrupting his wonderful lunchtime.

All of the boys then engaged in a casual conversation as they continued to eat their lunch. Felix had finished earlier than the others; as he tended to be a fast eater - much to his mother's dismay. He was laughing at a sarcastic quip Seungmin had made towards Jisung before something had caught his attention from the corner of his eye; Chan had only eaten a cookie.

Felix's plump, pink lips had formed their way into a frown before he quickly excused himself and headed for the lunch line. The others shrugged it off, continuing their conversation; but Chan watched as Felix headed to the line. After all, he was there to show Felix around, and take care of him, almost.

The blond haired boy returned with a tray full of food, before returning to his seat and placing the tray in front of Chan before the older boy could ask. The others noticed; and stopped to watch the two Aussies. "Felix? What's this?" the older boy asked in confusion.

The younger could only roll his eyes somewhat dramatically before speaking: "You only had a cookie, Chan. If you go back to lessons on an empty stomach - or a stomach only a quarter full, in your case - then you'll have no energy. You need to eat properly so you can work better. Now... Eat." Felix looked at the older boy with a straight face, expecting him to go ahead with the cutely-spoken demand. However, Chan looked at the younger boy, in return. His mouth open slightly, not knowing if he had much choice; but Chan was again in a state of disbelief.

He could only nod, before slowly proceeding to eat the food the freckled boy had brought for him. Felix grinned in content at this, almost childishly. The other four looked at the two Aussies before glancing at each other questioningly; then proceeding to go back to their minimal conversations.

"Don't you dare, Yang Jeongin. It's all about Mingi. Mingi, Mingi Min... gi," spoke the squirrel-like boy, before looking almost as if he were in a trance. The other boys turned to look at where Jisung's attention was focused. He was staring, quite obviously, at the one-and-only Lee Minho.

Felix's facial expression had dropped in 0.3 seconds flat. He didn't know what to think - his bratty cousin was right there, his new best friend had a crush on his bratty cousin, or that he was truly destined to misfortune.

"You... you fancy Minho, Jisung?"
