I slammed my alarm clock shut , I got up and headed towards the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and sighed, I looked horrible. Memories of last night flowed in my head. Shawn really did scare me.

To be honest I really didn't think it was a big deal. It wasn't like I flirted back. But on second thought I should've stopped chad before the crazy fight.

I needed to go for a jog. I put on a sports bra, baggy sweatpants, and my nike shoes. I went don't stairs without saying a word, I just wasn't in the mood.

I started to jog. *****************

After that wonderful jog I headed to Starbucks to order me an ice coffee.

"Next" said a raspy voice.

"What do you want to order beautiful" I looked up meeting beautiful brown eyes. He had blond hair , a strong jaw structure. He looked like one of those surfer dudes, in England...weird.

"I'd like an ice coffee please" I smiled

"Sure thing love" I just laughed and handed him the money.

"No no. It's on me" I shook my head.

"You don't have to, I could p-"he cut me off

"I know I don't have to but I want to" he said making direct eye contact with me.

I looked away "thanks I guess"

"Anytime love" he smiled and handed me the coffee.

"How can I thank you" I said. I couldn't just let him pay for my coffee and walk away.

He smiled "well my shift about to end, would you want to walk with me around the park" he asked looking nervous.

Awwww

I smiled "sure" he smiles brightly

"Nick" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"I never told you my name...the names nick" I laughed.

"Nick I like that name" I said testing his name.

He chuckled and I realized I was holding a line.

"Well nick I'll be over there" I said pointing to the table near the window.

"Cool well I have 5 minutes" he said. I nodded and made my way to the spot I pointed out earlier.

*************5 min later

As I was texting everything went black.

"Guess who" said a voice which I knew who it belonged to.

I smiled "ummm harry styles" I said deciding to tease him. Nick than quickly removed his hands off my eyes.

"Fuck off" he said laughing, I laughed along. "You ready to go beautiful" I nodded, he didn't have the same effect on me as shawn did when he called me beautiful. I shrugged it off and we made are way to the park.

I learned a lot about nick we also had a lot in common. "So Mia you have a boyfriend" he asked looking the other way.

"Eh its complicated" I said. Nick than looked at me and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean" he asked curiosity got the best in him.

I sighed might as well tell him.

"Well I met this guy shawn and he's sweet and all but he has trouble controlling his anger....it scares me a lot". I said

"Wait a minute does this shawn have a last name?? I looked at him weirdly.

"Uhh yeah but I forgot it starts with an M though....I think it's mendo no no that's not it it's it's-"

"Mendes" Nick cut me off giving me a terrified look. God why does everyone seem scared of this guy.

"Yeah that's it, are you alright" I asked looking at nick. "Y-yeah I umm have t-to g-go" he stuttered. Nick was about to leave till I caught his wrist.

"No not until you tell me why you react this way when I said Shawn's name" nick sighed and took a seat on the bench. He motioned for me to sit next to him which I gladly did.

" Ok well shawn mendes he's he's......"

He stammered on not get getting to the point.

"Nick stop he's what" I yelled grabbing him by his shirt.

" Shawn Mendes is the gang leader of the most wanted gang called "The killers" (stupid name I know).

I looked at him with my eyes wide.

"Shawn's a gang leader" nick nodded than said.

"And he wants you"
