Lost Souls (Archie Andrews)

Chapter One- Return to Riverdale

Cally's POV

This summer in England has been the best. I've been at boarding school for two years now but once me and my friends found out that it might be my last summer in a while, we knew he had to party it up.

You see, when I got the call from Betty 3 months ago, that my dad was revealed to be a hooded killer who murdered four people, I was in shock. I went home to be there for my mom, Polly and Betty but I couldn't stay for longer than a week, as I had exams.

But now, I'm leaving my boarding school life behind and returning to Riverdale, which is not the same town I lived in two years ago.

My cab pulled up outside of the big house on Elm street. The house I spent my childhood in.. it feels different now.

The last time I was here properly I wasn't myself, not the person I am now, at least.

I rebelled, I didn't listen to my mom and dad, and most of all, I let Betty down, and left her here to deal with everything on her own.

Everyone else was out, Betty and Alice were at the courtroom for Archie's trial, and Polly was at the farm.

It was the day after I came home and Betty was going over to Archie's to help him fix his car up and I was going over to tag along, and to catch up with Archie.

After we managed to get away from my mom and Polly, who were going on about Edgar from the farm saying we need more family time, we headed to Archie's.

"And Fred just ran over and punched Hiram Lodge, it was classic" Betty informed me of what happened at court.

"Oh my god! Fred Andrews has gotta be my favourite person ever. And I still can't believe it was Archie's girlfriend's father who got Archie arrested" I said.

"Tell me about it"

We arrived at Archie's garage.

"Archie Andrews" I said, as he turned around.

"Cally! I heard you were coming back," he said, hugging me, "I missed you!"

"I missed you too, Red. Damn you're not that same kid you were back in 9th grade, where did the muscles come from?" I joked.

He laughed.

"Cally Cooper? Welcome back kiddo!" Fred said, as he came out from the house and gave me a hug.

"Thank you Mr Andrews, how are you?" I asked.

"We're coping, I'm sure you've heard what's been going on" he replied.

I looked over at Archie.

"Yes I have, but with Mary and Betty's help, I'm sure everything will be okay"

Betty helped Fred and Archie fix the car and I was catching up with Archie.
