He was standing there with a knife in his hand. Delilah looked around and saw nothing but white. Not even white walls, just white fog that never seemed to end. She saw tears falling down his face. His face was still cut up, but this time his shoulders were cut too. Delilah started breathing heavily. She didn't like the fact that she didn't know where she was. She looked out into the distance and could almost see a river. Yes, she did see a river. It started flowing faster and faster down. Then, it started overflowing. Delilah turned around to see the fort on fire. The wood was popping with every second passing by. But even with all that around her, she kept her eyes focused on Hunter. It was obvious that those cuts were not on accident.
"Hunter?" She askes softly, "what's going on?"
"I can't take it anymore," he said whispering. He could barely speak because his throat was hurting.
"Hunter, what's going on?" She asked again.
"Oh why can't you see it Delilah! We're all going to die one day so why can't it be today?" This is the first time she realized tears were streaming down her face as well. The stream was still overflowing, the fort was still on fire, but Delilah didn't care. The whole world could burn before she would take her eyes off Hunter. It was obvious Hunter wanted it to be over, but what?
"Delilah, take care of yourself."
"Hunter what are you-" She was cut off by Hunter slowly sliding the knife across his throat. A row of blood formed across. He started to cough and choke before collapsing to the ground. Delilah wanted to scream, she wanted to run to him, pull him close to her and bring the life back into his body, but she couldn't move. Her feet were frozen where they were. The river still overflowing, the fort still on fire, but the thing that Delilah wanted to do most was run to Hunter and bring him back to life. To have him jump up and scream at her to scare her. But, his eyes were closed, his breathing has stopped, and the blood was still flowing.

"Delilah! Delilah! Wake up!" She woke up to Hunter shaking her shoulders slightly. She jolted up and tried to talk, but nothing would come out. Her throat felt like it was on fire. She turned and threw her arms around Hunters neck.
"Ow," she flinched at him saying those words.
"What's wrong? Do your shoulders hurt? Is it scratched up? Let me me see," she said whispering. She started to pull down the part of his shirt that was covering his shoulder. He grabbed her hand and put it back down on her lap. Hunter just started laughing.
"I said ow because you were putting pressure on my stitches. Why were you asking about my shoulder?"
"Um, no reason. Just never mind. I'm just glad you're here."
"Well it is four o'clock in the afternoon on a Tuesday!" He yelled. She winced because she realized her head was pounding. Then, she started having a coughing fit. Hunter pressed the back of his hand to her forehead and sighed.
"Looks like you got sick."
"Well of course I got sick, I snuck out of the house at three o'clock in the morning to meet you in the woods while freezing to death!" She tried to scream, but it just came out as a mere whisper. She layed her head down on her pillow and closed her eyes, but then snapped them back open.
"It's four o'clock? I missed school!"
"Yeah, I know. I was supposed to wake you up this morning, but you just wouldn't wake up, so I let you sleep. But then I came back and found you screaming your lungs out! What were you dreaming about?" Delilah bit her lip and began thinking about the dream.
'You should tell him! Tell him you're worried about him! Maybe it will get him to tell you what happened,' she thought.
"Delilah," Hunter said waving a hand in front of her face, "are you alright? You're doing it again."
