"Okay Mrs. Greth, can you tell us everything that happened?"
Delilah's mom was in a room with white walls and a single table. There were two one-way windows and two doctors were sitting in front of her.
"Well, my daughter, Delilah, she came up to me one day all excited and said, 'Mom I'm back! And I'm getting married!' Delilah locked herself in her room for a week, like she does everyday, but this time, it was like she was starving herself. And obviously when your eighteen year old daughter says they're getting married, you freak out a little. So I said, 'Who to?' And she said, 'Hunter.' Let me remind you, every since Delilah was little, she's always had these imaginary friends. She would play with them for a week then toss them away and find new names, but when she was in third grade, three names stuck, Grace, Jack, and Hunter. We thought she'd grow out of it but here she is when she's a senior, still playing with imaginary friends. We always wanted to keep it a secret that they weren't real in case the shock was too much for her, but I was just so angry for her scaring me like that. So I said, 'Hunter isn't real! He's imaginary!' And she bent over slightly and said, 'No! He's real! Can't you see him hugging my waist right now?' Then she turned to her shoulder and her face turned ghost white. She stood up straight and said, 'Jack! Why do you have a knife?' And then a row of blood formed across her throat and she fell to the ground. She wasn't holding anything sharp, and her and I were the only ones in the house, since my husband is off on business. I'm telling you, something killed her! Something not normal!"
"Well thank you Mrs. Greth," the doctor said. The two doctors walked out into the hallway and closed the door behind them.
"It's a shame," one doctor said to the other, "her daughter was insane and after she commuted suicide, her mother couldn't handle it, so she made up the story of someone killing her daughter."
"Her crazy daughter made her crazy," the other doctor said as they walked off to send Delilah's mom to an insane asylum.
Delilah's mom stayed in her chair, rocking back and forth saying, "I'm normal, I'm normal, I'm normal." Then, she looked up and saw Delilah with a row of blood across her throat with the word SLIT on her forehead, hand in hand with a boy in Nike everything with bloody wrists with the words SLIT WRISTS on his forehead, a girl in a flower dress with rope marks around her neck with the word HUNG on her forehead hand in hand with a boy in all black with his shirt off and a bullet wound through his stomach with the word SHOT on his forehead, another boy in Adidas everything that looks like her was crushed by something giant with the words FERRIS WHEEL written on his forehead, and he was holding a girls hand that looks normal, but has HEART ATTACK IN FRONT OF CROWD down her arm.
"Can't you see mom?" Delilah said, "We're all dead, and once you realize that, you finally get your happily ever after with the one you love." And after Delilah said that, her mom put her head down as her heart rate jumped, only to slow down minutes later before it stopped. The doctors came back seconds after to see she died in tears. Then, she appeared with the kids, staring at the dumbfounded doctors, with the word STROKE on her head, hand in hand with Delilah's father, with the word DROWNED on his forehead.
"People should really learn not to believe what they see."THE END.
