Hunter sat in the middle of the floor with his legs crossed. He was staring at a wall, lost in his own thought. His eyes were bloodshot, his clothes were filthy. The walls were painted a shade of green and there were two twins beds. By the door was the bathroom and by the second bed were doors leading to the patio. Hunter checked himself into a hotel downtown.

"She hates me," he thought, "she'll never talk to me again."

"But you love her," a voice fought back.

"It doesn't matter, she'll never love me back."

"What makes you think that?"

"I'm going crazy," Hunter said aloud, "I have voice fighting in my head.

"You're normal to me," Hunter heard Delilah's voice say. He looked up to see Delilah, her smile blinding, her hair falling in a perfect way, her sparkling eyes staring back at him. He rose to his feet in a rush and tried to crash his lips on hers, but it just went through her. He knew she was just his imagination trying to fill the void that she left, but it wasn't working, it just made him feel worst. There was a knock at his door. He shot up, thinking it was Delilah. He raced over to the door and twisted the knob. He was smiling, until he realized it was Drake. Hunter slammed the door shut and tried to climb out the patio door. Drake grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him to the floor.

"'Sup Hunter," he spit.

"What do you want?" Hunter tried to scream but, it came out a mere whisper because Drake's hands were wrapped around his neck.

"Delilah's not answering any of my messages. Grace says she's sitting in her room, alone. Did you tell her?"

Hunter stayed silent.

Drake punched him in the face. He pulled Hunter's shirt up off the floor.

"You did! You're the reason she's depressed. If she isn't happy, I will kill you. No hesitation." Drake threatened.

"Why? All I'm asking is what I did, why did you do this to me?" Hunter asked. Drake smirked and dropped him on the ground again.

"You'll find out soon enough, when you're dead," then, Drake was gone.
