The last year has gone really well. We still miss Coulson, but we do see Fury, Maria, May and FitzSimmons every couple of weeks. May and FitzSimmons stayed another week when we had gotten home. Alex lives with us, and helps with the kids. She is literally our fourth child, but we love having her around. After those two weeks of vacation Clint and I went back to work; doing missions no longer than a couple of days. May and FitzSimmons left, but came back every couple of weeks to see the kids. They were there for Grayer and Scarlett's birthday; as well as the holidays. Sebastian is ten now, Grayer is eight, and Scarlett turned three last month. Alex, Clint, and I took over teaching and training the boys; and they decided they wanted to do sports. Grayer wanted to play soccer and Sebastian wanted to play baseball. Between the three of us, we have never missed a game. Although while the boys are at practice, I've been teaching Scarlett how to dance, and she loves it. The thing is just about a month ago, May and FitzSimmons told us they were all going on some kind of mission, and we all miss them dearly. The kids ask about them every day; the kids get a phone call from their Auntie Jemma and Uncle Fitz every couple of days, and they love it.

Steve has even come to see the kids many times. Oddly enough every time he has come Clint has been on a mission, and Alex has been home. I've heard them up late at night just talking a couple of times, it makes me smile. Clint isn't too happy about it, but as long as Alex is happy so is he. When Steve first came over I had Sebastian get the door for me as I was cooking lunch. He brought Steve into the kitchen, and Steve was flabbergasted. He got to know all three kids, and they really like their Uncle Steve. They say he will play good guys verses bad guys with them.

Clint and Alex were on a mission, and were supposed to be home later today. I left a note telling them that we were headed to the park for a picnic lunch, and to meet us there when they got home.

"Alright, kiddos. Let's get going." I yelled from the kitchen.

The boys came stomping down the stairs as I walked into the living room to pick up a sleeping Scarlett out of her play pin. We walked out to the car, packed it up with food and toys, and headed for the park.

After being at the park for an hour Clint and Alex showed up, and we had lunch together. There were a couple of other families there that the boys know from their sports.

"Dad! Will you come play pass with us?" Sebastian asked.

"Why not, kiddo." Clint exclaimed as he got up.

After watching them play for a bit I noticed a couple come a little closer towards our family. I held Scarlett a little closer, and nudged Alex who was sitting next to me reading. The man and woman would look at the boys, and make a gesture towards them.

The man called out, "Sebastian?"

Which in turn made my son look up confused. I passed over Scarlett to Alex, got up, and walk over to them. "Excuse me, can I help you?" I asked them.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Your son just looks like a friend of mine. We are Egor and Nadia Ivanov." The man said with a slight Russian accent; while holding out a hand for Clint to shake.

I pulled both of my boys towards me. I looked down at Sebastian, and asked him in American Sign Language, "Do you recognize them?"

"Yes, momma, his voice sounds familiar. They aren't going to try to take me are they." he told me.

"No, no, sweetie. Dad and I would never let that happen. You are safe with us." I replied.

He hugged me tighter around the waist, and reached for Grayer as well. I looked back over at Clint trying to figure out where the conversation was headed. "We were just wondering where the boy was from, since he looked so familiar." The woman spoke up.
